Planning on doing Stage 4 tomorrow morning if the planets align. Douce France. It says 36km and 200m. The course is 24.2km and 108m but nearly all the climby bits are in the first half. So looks like 1.5 laps ending at the foot of the descent after aqueduc KoM for the second time around.

Ballon sprint 6.8-7.0km & 30.8-31.1km
Aqueduc KoM 10.9-11.3km & 34.9-35.3km
Pave sprint 12.8-13.2km
??Marina sprint 23.9-24.2km Looks like Marina sprint might not be a prime but it says all segments in play, so who even knows?

I had 5 drop outs in quick succession before and during first sprint. Never saw front half of race again, including Alan, who had a very different race to me.

Was quite fun being in a decent sized group that I felt comfortable in but a bit annoyed couldn't contribute more

Unlucky timing with the dropouts Michael. You would have been well up near the front if that hadn’t happened. I managed to get back to the front pack just as it hit the aqueduct but the group’s acceleration for the prime came too quick for me and the elastic band snapped. I finished mid 60’s place. Thanks Pete for the encouragement to strike out on the petit KOM - nearly died doing it but it shook a couple of hangers-on out of the small group I was with.

I’m signed up for the 7:30pm event tomorrow. Hopefully see a few others there too 👍

Don't think I would've been near the front for long in to be fair, and yes cheers @Peter Salt for the company

Attention all Flamme Rouge riders. NORMAL Zwift STARTS from now on. Neutralised start idea abandoned.

2315GMT: KMZ SUSPENDED for remainder of this Tour - includes 2330 & 0200 races for Stage 3 - FRR Race Control will be in both pens to advise riders. So despite best efforts and joining every race today the starts were still too difficult for many to manage - very disappointing but I have come to the decision that it is better now for riders to gear up as normal at the start rather than disadvantage riders who respect the KMZ intention but then get punished by their own respect. There are many potential reasons for it not working well this Tour and between now and Tour Britannia on Nov 26th I will work on options. For now back to NORMAL ZWIFT STARTS - apologies to all those that did respect the intention and for those who did not I would like you to picture all your lovely IRL bikes against a wall with a Dragon looking at them ....... DRACARYS......

I joined the pen last minute, realised I'd been on a Tron so had been given default Zwift wheels so tried to change them. Took too long, missed the start 🤦‍♂️

I had a similar mishap last year when I join to group ride. I was wondering why I had a problems to stay in a group. End of a ride I realize that I had a gravel bike from the previous ride I did.
