I'd be surprised if you'd want TT tips off me, can't stand TTs, find them so boring .. I also hate that course so I'm signed up but only 50/50 to do it ... it's the same time as the Tiny races that I love ... so do I ride something I hate or something I love? If I do the TT I won't be setting the world on fire.

Thanks god for google translate eh! 👍👍

For the hard of understanding, if I did the TT at full effort, recent experience (3rd August) on the exact same course fior 20 mins shows I'm nowhere near B numbers. I'd need to improve my numbers/fitness by 10% .... now, I know I'm good but even I'm not that good

So let me think about this..... do I let myself be goaded into riding a course i don't like just because someone is obsessed by my racing, or do I use Zwift as a fitness tool, to race the courses and style that i enjoy?

Difficult one. It's a conundrum for sure 🤣

Here's the list of people signed up so far - the category of each rider is in the FRHC column so you can see who you're up against in the GC in your category. The good news is for the team competition its our best 10 results that count so as long as everyone does every stage we should be fine :okay:

Well from my perspective I have no problem with that at all. I don't want to speak for everyone though so if anyone else has a problem with that please speak up.

Obviously some people post a lot more on here than others and that's 100% fine - I think maybe it might be nice if your friends at least posted on here to say hi, in the spirit of being part of a team as such? But please point out there's no obligation for them to get super involved in all our little "discussions"

Just went to sign up for the 0900 ITT tomorrow and realised that the times on the FRR website are in UTC making it 1000 BST (as shown on ZP events). This rather screws me up but please be aware of the time difference before signing up to any of the stages!
Nice one. Thanks
And as for more people joining , far as I am concerned the more the merrier
Someday there might be someone who likes me join 😁
And Andy - if jab gets you like it got me ( had it cos weak feeble and sickly ) arm felt slightly bruised few few days and felt odd for 3 days - nothing special but very not interested in things

Hopefully this new system of ranking works - still think things are very flawed but that’s what it is at moment
I can’t see why a position based ranking is so hard ? Other platforms do it well
Also don’t understand the sprint system in a race ? In races I watch on telly , the people who go over line first get points , not people half way in the pack - I can only liken it to kids at school sports day all being allowed to win something just to keep them happy

You mean FTS? I think it's just something that was easy to do in Zwift and makes it different from real-world races. Also - yeah - tossing a bone to people who can sprint/climb but can't hold onto the front pack. Can't see a problem with it, really. I mean they have lots of different competitions in the Grand Tours, so why not? Although it has to be said, in our recent ZRL C races most of the FTS points are going to the same people in the same order as FAL anyway. But that hasn't always been the case.

In sprints, same as the KoM, the first over the line do get points (FAL). But WTRL have decided in their league they also want to give points for fastest through a segment (FTS) .... this gives everyone in the race something to fight for, rather than just the top 10-15 riders in each race. It clearly works well as the WTRL leagues are well represented across all time zone, with many thousands taking part each week.

For those who don't like points based racing, and prefer first past the post, there are hundreds of races each day to join from 8 minute VO2 max efforts, to long and climby. The choice is there for everyone so no one is forced to race events that they don't like.

HTH :okay:
