I’m definitely keen to race the ZRL.

Not on Zwift at the moment, riding outdoors and on Wahoo SYSTM instead (which I really like). I think I am going to be a B Cat at the start of the season.

My power profile is changing so don’t really know how I will get on in the Zwift racing. My power curve shows everything upto 2mins with PBs set this season, everything over 2mins has power down on last year and all-time.

I think my new power curve will make me even worse at TTTs but hopefully less likely to get dropped at the start of a B Cat race and up punchy climbs like the legsnapper. Last season I could really put the hurt on people in those shorter punchy moments in C Cat and couldn’t hold on in B Cat!!

I will be up for racing but definitely in C. I am now into my 5th week off the bike. The post surgery infection is pretty much gone but the wound still has not healed up. They cannot stitch it because it has to heal from the inside and they won’t allow it to scab over. I have been told at least another 10 days before I can get on the turbo just to spin. I am getting a bit frustrated!

With all these people coming back from injuries or otherwise out of form, we might end up with two C teams for the next season!

ZwiftPower currently has me as a D, but that's only because I've literally got just three races logged in the last 90 days and two of those I wasn't going at full gas for 20 minutes (one was the ZRL finals where I was merely making up the numbers, the was other a primes only race where it didn't matter about finishing position). As soon as I re-subscribe in September, I'll be ranked as a C again fairly quickly I'm sure.

With you on that frustration Bob .... not exactly the same, but not being able to ride is totally frustrating. Hope you can ride again in the next 10 days.

I'm able to ride a bit at the moment (just can't walk far) but my Op is in 3 weeks time and it'll be 5-6 weeks after that before I can start training again. Hopefully I won't have more than the 10kg I've put on so far to lose.

5kg for me, but as trousers are the same size, and I've been doing loads of weights, mine is mostly muscle on arms, shoulders etc ... so probably going to be hard to lose it all. But nice though if I could trim down a bit, but keep the muscle .... let's see how the training goes and if the scales stay on my side
