Checking out my ride,
I was out sprinted yesterday by a rider who was subsequently DQ'd, but he peaked at over 14Watts/kg, to my paltry 9.9W/kg
No need to worry his peak power if he was disqualified, maybe his peak power was false as well.
I always suspect riders who hide their profile and don't register on ZP. I had time yesterday to spot 3 wringers in my race, so when they gapped us all on the first climb, I didn't bother to try and go with them.
Why ride in a category where you are either easily too good or are cheating so much that its no longer a worthwhile race.
I like the close competition, for the podium or 20th position

3R races when I can because then the wringers are of no importance as all cats race together
Exactly that. I still remember my first races in C - when I was fighting to be 5th from the back and not 4thI like the close competition, for the podium or 20th position
I need to focus more hydration from now. Today was pretty hot day in here, I did 65km ride and avg temperature was +30°C and max temperature was +35°C. Noticed near a halfway that I am getting exhausted, lactic acid run all over my body. Few rest days are very welcome now.
They're not quite all together, they start together, but from different pens. Yesterday the pens were just far enough apart that I didn't sprint for long enough to catch B cats. Next time
Definitely was planning to carry on with the ZRL, I've enjoyed it a lot. Will be a C by the time it kicks off.Guys who’s up for the WRTL in September? I’ve not raced much the last few weeks / months so I’ve dropped back into B (). I think maybe some people are being promoted to B and some are going the other way.
I wasn’t personally overly enamoured with the point scoring system last season. But it’s good fun and a good workout so I’m happy to carry on.
Or alternatively we look for another league?
