There's some new ones this week as well. I was on Tempus Fugit cooling down after my race today and there was one beginning with E.
Also there's some new pace partner events going up the Alpe.

Aah okay, so there is more than 6 pace partners in Watopia now. So now there is pace partners almost for everyone. Maybe next requested feature is personal pace partner where you can set the desired w/kg.

My 8yo son is 35kg and has an FTP of 70W so it’ll be interesting to see if he can stick in the Dorothy Duster group when I get him set up on the Neo this weekend…

I did one of the Alpe Pace Partner events this evening; stuck with Andrew Alpinist (49 minute pace) until halfway up the climb in a group of seven or eight, then my legs crumpled momentarily and I was off the back. Got over the line in 50:48 which is some way off my best, but is big progress over the kind of form I had in Feb/March. Somehow didn’t get an FTP increase, though - in the draft I was managing to keep up with a bit less than Andrew’s 4W/kg.

Stage 3 of the Women's Tour of Britain today, I drove across the Severn Bridge and parked in Lydney, then rode to see the race at both the QOM locations, Worralls Hill & Speech House.
Lots of cyclists out enjoying the sunny weather and climbs in the Forest of Dean.

Here's the elevation profile from today's ride to prove how testing the Forest of Dean can be...

Used to love riding in the Forest of Dean when I lived beside the Severn at Wanswell. I spent my gap year working for BNFL at Berkeley, and whiled away my weekends either racing, exploring the Cotswolds, or riding ‘around the block’ (up to Gloucester, though the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, and back home over the bridge). Happy days! 😁

Trying to get back on track, with weight control, body composition, etc etc. I expect my performances to drop off whilst in calorie deficit. Getting back into my weight training now, enjoying the DOMS ache

I've had a bit of that last week as I started a little bit of running (I know - totally mad). Got another ton coming up on Saturday so I've been fixing my rear derailleur today (cable was fraying in shifter restricting number of accessible gears). Also managed to get just under 25 minutes for a 10 mile Tempus Fugit TT. It's a bit faster than in real life (IRL PR is 26:27).

My Tempus 10 mile TT is 24.06, which is pretty much my real life flat TT pace

Target on your back now  (although I doubt I will have time to try it before my Zwift account goes to sleep for the summer ^_^).
Hoping to have a crack at real life TT next week if the weather is good.

I need to join the local club for the TT events. Or I could just be an invader from my old club:whistle:

Been doing a Zwift ride yesterday and noticed that the leaderboard now shows 90-day results (used to be 30-day). Not sure if it always does this in the summer or a permanent change. Don't know if this applies to stuff shown when climbing the Alpe.

Looks a great course on a still night, do they run the TT throughout the summer ?

Every Tuesday evening 1900 start. (Usually from late April to mid September). Signup is via this Facebook page (I know - the shame of it - but it's not my show ) usually signups need to be done by Sunday evening 1800.

Apart from no traffic, the other thing I like most about it is that you don't need to touch the brakes all the way round. The bends are such that they can all be taken at 22+ mph
