Whoop update:Morning guys, someone on the forum was asking about the Whoop I wear which basically monitors your strain, sleep recovery etc.
I thought I would give some feedback about the Whoop and last nights race which was hard for me personally trying to hang on to the ccc team team whilst being in a freezing garage breathing in lots of cold air.
This morning the whoop showed my hrv to be very low which is not good, my recovery data very low which again is not good and my respiratory rate high (not good).
So basically the whoop is telling me I’m f*#k**d and I need to take it easy today and get some good sleep later for recovery.
I’m now thinking is this data good to know or not when it’s that crap because mentally it’s not making me feel very good before I head out to work!
Anybody else suffering today after last nights race?
Whoop data has confirmed to me that if your an older cyclist around 56 you probably need 2 days to fully recover after a hard race on a Tuesday and in fact my hrv went to a higher good level than b4.
