I assume PlanetX turbos are rebrands or at least based on another manufacturer? Anyone know who?

A mate is looking to get started on Zwift with max budget of £100 - not a cyclist, no interest in racing so I’m about to suggest a PlanetX Pro Fluid for £65 and a Bluetooth speed sensor for £20.

Looking through the list of recognised/tested trainers for zPower on Zwift to try and get some confidence that he could get a good experience but not sure where it might be listed - presumably PlanetX aren’t re-inventing the wheel and it’s a rebranded trainer but not sure

@IrishAl @peterob Is it just me or was that an absolutely brutal pace for a Cat B race?! I felt like I was right on the limit constantly! Having all the other riders on the course didn't help either as the race groups kept getting split in the sticky draft

I thought it was brutal too. I wasn’t feeling any draft benefit and everyone was well above the 4wkg in that first lap. I couldn’t hold the pace any longer so had to sit up for a bit.

And before you ask...yes I was racing 😄

Yeah I’ve just seen that. I was 2nd on the road but it looks like the guy ahead was an A cat masquerading as a B 😬

I’m worried I may get an A upgrade as I may have edged over the watts on that brutal start. Only just managed to stick with the bunch on that first couple of laps.

Maybe you could just refrain from getting upgraded to Cat A until after the start of season 2of the ZRL?

It’s going to be close. It was already showing ‘Almost A’ after a couple of 16km time trials right at the limit.

Feeling anxious now! 😅. I don’t want to be in the Billy no mates cat with Lee 😂
