Truly very sorry Carl. You have all my sympathy and all my best wishes. Knowing a day is coming is no consolation when it finally arrives. Stay strong mate. You should let this place be a sanctuary for you over the next few days and weeks if you need it to be.

Just noticed a local league series over Christmas ( starts tonight ) here in the SW so may ride that instead of Tuesdays Hare & Hounds...???

Looks a good league series with lots of entrants...

The guy who's vids I watch (Simon Russell) raced this one and his stream is below. He races in B, looks like you finish right behind him :okay:

Yes, got mine this morning :okay:

Not been riding this month as been looking after Rach. She is very poorly now and slipping in and out of consciousness. The consultant thinks we have only a day or so until the end. She has fought so hard for so long but her battle is now done. Feckin heartbroken. She has been my rock, best friend and soul mate for 25 years. She bought me my first trainer, the Boardman bike that is on the trainer and my roubaix. She has supported my bike riding as she knew this was an escape for me from real life. Whilst she was still able to talk she made me promise to continue to ride.

Bit of a ramble but I'm sitting here alone with her and no one else to talk to. Thanks for listening :hugs:

Ramble away mate, whatever is necessary to help you through this and the days to come. :hugs:

PM me your number if you want to talk, I'm not the greatest ear but I'm willing to be a listener.

I seem to remember you ordered a 3D printed version of the Tacx Neo outer plate removal tool from eBay?

Did it do the job ok? Asking because I seem to have a rattle developing inside the plate and I’m thinking of ordering one so that I can remove the outer plate and check for any debris inside.

Carl, I'm so sorry to hear this and I can't really think of the right words to say to you - but as others have said we're all here for you so feel free to ramble all you want. We'll all be thinking of you and Rach over the next few days :hugs:

Hi Del - yes it does the job fine. My only criticism is the bolts that screw into the Neo as it removes the plate could do with being a bit longer - but it does do the jobe and I've removed and reinstalled the outer plat twice to clean inside. I had a nasty metallic knowcking noise coming from it which research online suggested was actually tiny bits of metalknocking on the magnets - and the design of the thing makes it sound way worse than it actually is. I couldn't actually see anything when I opened it up but after a couple of goes at carefully cleaning with a dry microfibre cloth and the noise did stop.

If you want me to post mine to you so you can use it and post it back, DM me and I'll be happy to - although the one I bought was only £15 so probably just as easy and not much more money to just buy one
