Well you did okay with 5 riders this time around!

I am going to, there's a slight chance I may get called into work if people are off though - I think the green jersey has gone tbh so it's more about just seeing it through (I think I'm 11th or 12th on GC as well)

I don’t see Sam Coleman signed up yet...so if he doesn’t show, then you could take green if you win the sprint. Also Darrell Cairns is doing well in GC and he KOM comp so even 2nd place could be good enough to win the kit. I going to sign up and happy to give you a lead out. Hope you can make it.

Sprint is after 11.6km of flat so if I make it to the start line any help would be greatly appreciated!

to quote the Zwift Insider race recon...
"The sprint is a fast one with speeds up to 70km/h as it's downhill. This means that heavier guys who get over the hills have a massive advantage,"

☝ That sounds like most of us 😁

I might try and do a recon on Sunday morning if that suits anyone for a meet up?

I’d be up for that mate

Difficult to plan rides at the weekend at the min but please keep me posted

Is there live data for the IRL races on Zwiftpower? Assuming there isn't, I'd propose this race strategy for you tonight:

1. Get a non-sprinter (someone like me!) to change name and kit in Zwift to your normal IRL settings as a decoy. Even post a some Doris'isms in the chat
2. You set your name to something inconspicuous and keep silent
3. The decoy falls out the back of the main group before the sprint - your competitors breath a sigh of relief
4. IrishAl and Macedonia's finest give you the mother of all lead outs to steal it from right under the nose of your competitors who might not even bother to chase it!

You are an evil genius.

It is a very elaborate plan given I'm not actually all that sure my competitors are aware who I am ...and if I change my name will 'they' get any points if win? I do wonder if they take results from zwift or zwiftpower @IrishAl ?

I will change kit to green though. Might Irish my name up a bit

Invite me please Al. Not sure if/when I can make it this weekend but it’ll be good to do a recon ride 👍

The results come from zwiftpower - I don’t know how exactly it works but I suspect the data relates back to zwiftid number so even if your Zwiftpower name is different then you should still get the points.
I’m gonna set my team to Cyclechat, so that even if I inadvertently finish ahead of you I won’t take your points (the sprint points only apply to riders for IRL)
