How was your race last night @Brendan Parker and @Del C ?
Sorry for the slow reply.

Bit of a disaster for me personally and tough for the team generally. I got dropped at the KoM. We passed another team on the climb. I got through them ok, but just didn't have enough to stay on. I was averaging 270w up until then, so going well, which dropped to an average of 227w for a rather lonely last 2/3 of the ride.

I'd ridden up the Alpe in 58 minutes at the weekend and was full of it. So this was pretty much a case of crashing back down to earth with my old problem of not quite enough top end power.

The team finished 19 out of 22 with a time of 42.17. We'e 20th out of 22 in the league with just 10 points covering the bottom 8 teams

Anyone else TTT'ing tonight? A re run of Richmond will test mixed ability teams ability to stay together.
I am hoping fat fingers don't get in the way of some pain tonight^_^
I'm meant to be but I may drop out.

Swollen gum and on antibiotics. Not sure I'm in the right shape for 2 laps of Richmond.

In my non-competitive riding to try to hold fitness and lose weight I've been doing BRVR rides, mostly at a nice tempo. There is a goats league running so I've been using those as courses to ride. The one I chose today was Pike's Peak ..... 1900 metres of climbing :B) 2hr 30mins of brutal-ness, at an average 205 watts. I hurt :surrender: This is supposed to be more relaxing than Zwift

Sorry to hear that you weren’t happy with the ride. Still, with the teams around you all separated by such a small number of points it sounds like it’s still there to play for 🙂

Just thinking of promotion/relegation play offs- do you think teams will game the system by subbing on stronger racers who maybe raced for another one of their teams for a one off?

Funny you say that. I was going to suggest #23 start loaning out our riders to the other teams in the division to give us more of a challenge! 😜

And while we at it great ride from #23 👍🏼 Clearly should have been in league 1 I’d say. 🎯 😂
we did talk about this after the pools were divided into divisions. We lost 15 seconds in the qualifying TTT due to a tag misspelling issue (no names being mentioned 😊). I’d say we would have made the cut for division 1 had that not been a factor but being top of division 2 is a nice place and gives us the chance to build some confidence. Having said that there’s still 6 races to go so still all to play for.

We'e 20th out of 22 in the league

Clearly should be in league 2 😂😂😂

I’d imagine some of the bigger teams will do this alright, even loan out riders to their B teams to help fight off relegation.

Are you racing the IRL league race tomorrow? It’s a sprint points stage right?

Well you did okay with 5 riders this time around!

I am going to, there's a slight chance I may get called into work if people are off though - I think the green jersey has gone tbh so it's more about just seeing it through (I think I'm 11th or 12th on GC as well)

to quote the Zwift Insider race recon...
"The sprint is a fast one with speeds up to 70km/h as it's downhill. This means that heavier guys who get over the hills have a massive advantage,"

☝️ That sounds like most of us 😁

I might try and do a recon on Sunday morning if that suits anyone for a meet up?
