I’ve had quite a busy week and haven’t been keeping up to date so maybe I missed it. But we were going to have a cyclechat race next Tuesday unless it’s been called off. Are people still up for it? I haven’t seen it mentioned. If so could you let us know today so we have a chance to get it set up in time. If not no worries.

Not sure how many people are doing it, the times are a bit different to what usually suits people (but it is run a few times a day)

Monday's work well for me so I'll probably do the DBR league. Now do I race against Jason B in D or pie him off and do C. FFS. (PS "pie him off" is Love Island talk for you oldies like @Ketty).

I do like the GC aspect of the Tuesday race so might be able to domestique at some point if necessary, but it is just a little late in the evening for me.

Just looking on the Zwift Forums about the Pacer Bots and found that my theory about the weight was correct (or my theory about the draft was incorrect if you want to be all negative about it!)

The A and C bots are lightweights at just 65kg, whereas the B and D are 82kg. This means that the C bot I was riding with around Tempus Fugit last night was doing just 170 watts on the flat, so no wonder I was able to keep up so easily! On a hilly course it might be a different matter, but that was quite a relaxed ride in the desert.

Yes, if you're on the latest version it should already be there - there's different bots available at different hours and there are apparently a few hours a day of downtime, but they are there most of the time.

From the main menu, just make sure you've got the Watopia course selected, and the Pace Partners logo should appear at the top of the "Join another Zwifter" section.

Tommy I’m going to have a crack at this 3R GC series which runs every Tuesday so that will take me out of Tuesdays. It’s a bit different to the recent points leagues and timing suits me.

It sounds like a few are up for that series too but either way I’m still happy if folks still want to go for the event next week as that date had been talked about. I can set up the meet up.

I did another Banbury Star CC Time Trial this week. Last week it was cancelled due to heavy rain and standing water. I've written a blog if anyone is bored https://norryscyclingstuff.weebly.com/blog and wants a read. I did a PB for the course which was handy.

Next week is a 5 mile TT which should be a laugh - and then a Hill Climb on Saturday 5th. (Burton Dassett)

Damn ... was looking to join that earlier then got distracted! I've signed up for the 16:00 Crit City race in C which should be interesting. I think it's got the anti-sandbagging set up and there are a few suspect 'C' riders signed up so I'll be looking out for the cones to appear
