Not enough elevation gain for all of Ventoux.....
That's true. That Zwift version of Ventoux is bit more human than real Ventoux where elevation is over 1900m. Maybe that France map also unlock fourth Zwift challenge which is been locked from very beginning.

for instance my pb in the last year is 21.55 compared to Tommy at 24.07 so those times wouldn’t make a fair handicap. Any other way to set times?

I’m prepared to concede that those times might not be entirely accurate...Chop 10 seconds off mine?

I think this is a good idea.

So, a 2 lap ITT to set a benchmark. Let's do it on TT bikes, so no drafting to give us accurate timings. Then the next race we can decide on ITT handicap or TTT handicap.

Next up should be a Friday followed by a Wednesday. Keeping it to every 2 weeks would be July 10 then July 22.

Why not set of at staggered times for the first race too? They don’t have to be completely accurate. But it’s fun hunting people down and being hunted.

Elite Drivo2 is probably designed exactly thinking of Angliru, it can simulate 24% climb. Obviously i ain't never gonna use that capacity.

I’m up for racing the tour as a league.

Just worried it’ll get mistaken for the zwift world championships from earlier in the year. It was all a bit embarrassing to be honest... I’m sure you all remember vividly. I had the title of ‘world zwift cyclechat Turbo’ing champion of the world (and most of the surrounding universe)‘ forced upon me, against my best protests of course. It all felt a little too much at the time. But I’d hate for the two leagues to get confused. This ‘tour of France’ or whatever it’s called? Just doesn’t seem as important as the zwift world championships does it? :cuppa:

Only if they had worn SPD shoes, they could have avioded looking like crippled ducks.

My descent from Ventoux was a more pleasant affair

Crazy! That is way too scary just watching the video. And the next video from Tommy makes me think back to the scare tactic films they showed us in drivers ed in high school that made you drive like an old lady for a day or two.
