Hi All. Mr Grumpy here again!

It's my birthday today, so I'm even fecking older!

But..............

Just did an 8 lap Crit Race. 41 starters. I came 16th. I didn't get dropped from the start and was in the lead group for 6 laps!

Got slightly gapped going into lap 7 with one other guy and that was it. We rode together to the finish. He tried to jump. I thought he'd gone too early so let him go, put on more power, rounded the corner and beat him on the sprint to the line!

What was it @Norry1 was saying? He think he's King Canute? Let's hold back that sea!!!

I hope they're not like Bologna where they are race routes only. It would be so nice if they started linking some of the routes together (maybe via a virtual airport!) so you could start in London then ride to Harrogate without having to close down Zwift.

Yeah I guess it's to reduce server load or something that it's not all on one map at peak times but I'd love a "channel tunnel" connection between London and France, maybe have a watopia, a Europe, a north America etc.

Just got an invite to the futureworks races on the 24th and 25th to test the "boost mode" stuff that was recently discussed on zwiftinsider. Anyone else get the email and/or planning to attend. I might consider on the 25th, but the times aren't partciularly good for me.

Yeah I got one too.

I have to say I am disappointed it doesn’t go to the top. There has been some conjecture over an Eric Min ride that on some interpretations suggested it went to the top.

Unfortunately Garmin Connect doesn't include virtual rides in its VO2 max calculation.

As I've not been out much lately I haven't got enough data.

I had this issue with garmin not updating my training status. Garmin connect doesn’t recognise third party apps like zwift. Only way I’ve found is to actually record the indoor ride on garmin device aswell. Bit of a faff as you have 2 rides go to strava. Just have to delete The garmin one from strava and the zwift one from garmin connect.

I'd love that, it'd make routes more fun.

I also want the ability to ride into the start pens if I'm riding before a group ride. So I could warm up by riding from the volcano to desert pens and turn in!
