The A’s only need 3 👍 Del, you need to increase the time difference - don’t go soft mate😉

Sorry I missed the race. The course looks really good to...

Can’t believe Legs has been relegated to the women's netball team / B team... :headshake:

His willingness to jump ship and drop us like a hot potato so quickly just proves he’s a natural fit for our team!

Good race
mr burninglegs - impressive - and the tactics at the end very nearly paid off

Great riding both by Nick and Lee.

I nearly fell off my saddle when Nick started sledging Doggart - one of my main rivals For the league. 😅😅

The hills at the start as expected shook things up with a group of about 15 going clear on the second snapper. Edu - the winner in the last round was distanced - he messaged the group to say something about his chain coming off. I don’t know if that was genuine or just his way of saying we cracked him lol. He was chasing hard to get back on and was 3 seconds away but he must have cracked for real and he was gone,
up over the 3rd hill and the front group largely stayed intact albeit strung out. A non-Zwiftpower rider raced off the front and was let go. I was I. Good company with legs and Berty. Also my 2. main rivals for the league were there. We rode steady but nothing difficult for 2 laps and had put 40 seconds into the group behind. I was on discord with some team IRL lads who were behind. They alerted me to Edu now in the chase group and going strong. The gap as falling so I messaged the lead group to start working and most that I could see started taking turns to keep the chasers at bay - last lap the gap was down to 15 seconds and I was worried they would get us.
Nick and Berty worked hard on the front.
league rival Doggart hadn’t taken a turn at all...that’s when Nick messaged the group calling out Doggart for sitting in...saying he’ll be sorry if he doesn’t win the sprint for taking it so easy. 😀

myself and Nick exchanged a few messages and agreed he should attack with a km to go and it almost worked. there Was no immediate reaction and he had a good gap. I sat in then a BRT lad went for it followed by others. I had an aero and deployed it getting on the front but maybe a bit sooner than I would have liked. The finish line loomed and I thought I had it - if it was real life I would have had my arms in the air - but I could see I was getting caught and a wee fooker got me just on the line - Zwiftpower has it at 0.023s. So 2nd on the night. Thankfully it wasnt Doggart who beat me. Happy with the result and really appreciative of the team support. 👍

Really enjoyed that. Having a strong team gives a good excuse to draft to my heart's content which I needed after the start, which went as expected.

My w/kg was the same as the last group on the road but 14th on zwiftpower and in the second group so happy with the result.

Went all in at the start and nearly paid off big time, dropped at the very last second then me and two other guys were in a group just behind. They were telling me to pull but @BurningLegs had my back and was hilarious throughout. There was a big group behind catching anyway- Harm was in that group so assume he genuinely did drop a chain.

One thing I noticed at the very start- I think I was the only person who used the supertuck on the first descent- went through the whole pack.

So my w/kg 20 minute power is hopefully artificially low due to the 3x supertuck recovery's and then the drafting to save up for the sprint. Might need to do a crit or a ITT for a true FTP test. Again, always aware on a kickr snap it might not be true power but felt good.

Great result @IrishAl and really strong support from the team in the front group by the sound of things.

I just couldn't stay with the pace at the start again, which is a real pisser.

I ended up in a group of 4 at the back and that worked ok, but when you lose the group at the start the gap just flies out.

I can put out steady B level power once I'm going, but its frustrating when you're out of contention from the start. Not sure if its a problem I can fix to be honest. <insert pissed off emoji here>

Ok Lee is in now, so We've got 4 in each team for Wednesday.

Looking at the teams again, I could have put Nick in A, but I don't know who to drop to B, so I've stayed with the 4 who've been strongest in the past. Anyhow, it just means we've got 2 strong riders to pull B along.

I could have put Bob, Adam or Martin in B or C, so if you have a preference or object to where you are then just say and I can move you guys around.

Everyone happy with my handicaps. There's an element of guesswork between A and B with the way people are currently riding.
