I quite like the Innsbruckring circuit just to ride around at my own pace, but racing it - ugh. And four laps of it - quadruple ugh.
Basically I spend quarter of a lap trying to get into a group, then half a lap riding with said group, then get dropped on the climb, then spend the downhill and sprint area either chasing the group I lost or waiting for the next group to catch me (whoever is closer), then start all over again.
The worst thing is when they actually drop you BEFORE the climb - there's a little rise as you're coming over the railway bridge where sometimes people attack, leaving you with the choice of leaving them and riding to the climb without a draft, or riding hard to catch them knowing that even if you do, it'll leave you knackered before the climb where you'd have lost them anyway.
@Joffey, I think we do much the same as we did last week. Hammer it from the start to try to get in JB's group and create a gap to whoever is in fourth on ZwiftPower. He'll easily be able to leave us behind either on the main climb or the railway bridge, but we focus on guaranteeing us 2nd and 3rd places. He might take it easy after the sprint point and allow us to catch up briefly, but even if not we should be able to reel in any other rivals if we use our draft effectively.
Aye, forget about JB after the first climb. We'll just try and hoover up 2nd & 3rd again
