I'm guessing at the minute you may have to get whatever is available rather than what you want. How old are they and how serious? Easiest is a dumb trainer with speed/cadence sensor.

11 not very serious but would like it to be so want best of both worlds really. Kind of thinking as lockdown gets lifted there will be a few being sold on.

Any advice all. My kids want to have a go on zwift. Don’t want direct drive as they have different bikes. Any ideas on what trainer to get?

Tacx smartbike or Wattbike Atom Can be adjusted for most sizes - great for the whole family (at least, that's what you can tell the wife )

I sold my Kickr v1 a few weeks ago for the same price I bought it for nearly 2 years ago. Others were actually going for more but I didn't want to be greedy. There is a Bkool Pro on Ebay at the moment for £155 with multiple bids and still 3 days to go. Crazy!

I changed the team for the DBR league to Cyclechat last week. Zwiftpower allows you to do that without changing your default team. I checked last week's results and I'm listed under Cyclechat there.

I just checked my team for today's event under Signups, and it says Default team, ie WTRL. So, I've just changed the DBR event option back to Cyclechat and I'm told it will update shortly. Need to keep eye on this as I didn't think I had to set the option on a per event basis.

If @Brendan Parker enters the C race today, then check you're still signed up for Cyclechat as well, because your default team is BRT.

If your DBR league team has somehow reset to default team, then you'll need to change the DBR event team back to Cyclechat via the Signup page as we discussed last week.

Your Zwift (in-game) name probably still says (WTRL), but that name is irrelevant to the team rankings, so you can leave that at whatever you want. Being a small team, we know who D. Cobb is anyway.
