Completely off topic, but I've just had an email from my hotel loyalty card saying someone rang them and changed the email address associated wit my account. Since then I'm getting 4-5 emails a minute from various subscriptions being set up on my email.

Anyone experienced anything like this and any suggestions?

Nope,. just quickly check your bank is being charged with unknown transactions.

It might be worth warning the bank to afford you some extra protection incase fraud takes place

Not had this and a bit worrying.

Best I can suggest is getting back to the hotel head office and telling them what has happened and ask them how they are going to fix it. Mentioning GDPR (as this feels like a breach) is worth a go.

You could legitimately question the recent weight increase I agree, but you're trying very hard there to make it sound worse than it looks in reality

I don't know his reasons, and for it to show up on ZP, it must have been an official race, right? On November 1st 2019, his weight was lowered to 67 kg, and 2 days later he was back at 76 kg.
Surely he didn't do this to have an advantage over some team mates, as I suppose they trust each other not to do such a thing? 😜

Anyways, it was Tommy who again brought up the weight doping topic, so I just wanted to give him a heads up on his new team mates, so he doesn't offend someone later on. ^_^ I just picked this rider as I remembered seeing his name in my feed because of your meet up last night.

I'm not really that turned on by riding solo on videos, regardless of the video quality. So, that rules out BRVR and Fulgaz for me. I may try Rouvy, but I expect the lack of people and variety of rides will be the killer for me again.
Well BRVR does allow riding against live competitors now, OK unlike BKool you don't see a mark on the video showing where your opponents are, but they are displayed in the mini map of the course ... plus you also get the time gaps on the LHS. ... There is no drafting either, so yo all get to feel the burn. Social wise, yeah not a lot of riders, although you/we can always, post here to say I'm riding X course on BRVR if anyone wants to join me, and use Discord ... BRVR also lists events and challenges taking place, so you can join those and ride together ... Like Liege - Bastogne - Liege this week ... which IIRC were actually free, because of lock down

The BKool riders - Remember them?? - are looking at riding "Socially" on BRVR, although my suggestion of the Stelvio was met with an emphatic NOOOOOOO!:laugh::rofl::rofl:

Do any of the 'sims' have the tag along elastic feature in Zwift?

I think that is a great feature for social riding. Some can ride harder if they want, others float behind at their own pace

I thought the BRVR video quality was very good and the control of the Neo was good.

It's just a visual thing for me. I prefer being able to see myself and others around me as avatars. It gives me a better sense of riding or racing as a group. I can remember the time gaps and I think the mini map was also there when I rode on BRVR. They certainly help but just didn't give me that visual feel for the ride that I seem to need.

I did see that Bkool guys were planning to meet for a social ride on BRVR. I was struggling to get my head around that!

Steen, seriously I'm not interested in going back and forth on this, but no its not just races that appear on ZP, group rides do too. And as I said, this was a ZSUN team group ride with 9 people in it, not a race. So its irrelevant.

The Zsun chaingang is not a race but a group ride for Zsun riders-all 9 of them that day-where the idea is you hold close to 4w for an hour, as a group. Not unknown for someone to play with their weight for that ride in order to stay with the group.

Looks like you have way too much time on your hands :okay:

I haven't seen it anywhere else.

It's been working well for our Virtual Club Run. We've had 25-30 for each of our rides and it works as you say.

This week we used the new feature that allows you to plan a Meet Up in any world. I chose Yorkshire as it wasn't one of the 3 scheduled worlds.

We had a really good ride. Most of us were in the same kit and with fewer riders on the road, visually it felt as near as it could be to riding a club run. Using Discord as well made it a really good 90 minutes on the bike.

I've now had people suggesting we include a virtual cafe stop, so we're going for that as well next Saturday!
