i understood it, sandbagging is when a higher cat rider (as categorised by ZP) is racing in a lower cat race.

YEP

So long as the rider is pushing cat limits, is in the correct cat based on their ZP profile and everyone has a chance to compete, is all fine by me. Others may feel different, but I'm fine with that.

SO NOT SANDBAGGING COZ THEY ARE IN THE RIGHT ZP CAT?
If someone I'm never going to meet, know nothing about, changes their weight and this puts them pushing the same w/kg as the cat race they're in, then again, makes no difference to me. I get others may not be happy about that, but I've thought about it over the years and I don't care. Life is far too short to care about what others do :okay:

The weight aspect is mental isn't it? You are getting shoved into C and I'm well within D, all due to weight it would appear. I need to stop eating cake.
Or, eat the cake and enjoy life 🍰

Although I'm a bit hypocritical as I worked hard for 6 months to get me weight down to a level that I'm (mostly) happy with ... and I get to enjoy a cake now every week or so

Looks like I'm heading back to C.

That's probably fair enough based on my poor 1 minute power!

Correct. If someone is in the correct ZP cat, and racing in that cat, then I personally have no issue with that. For C it means they will be racing in the 2.5 - 3.2 w/kg band and hence C racers will be able to compete competitively. I'll never know if they have 'lost' 25kg to get to a weight to ride to that w/kg, so why worry?

The new algorithm will tighten up the rules even more.

For me, it really is that simple.

I just don't want B riders in a C race as they will go off fast, dragging along the top C riders thus giving them an extra advantage; and that comes from a C rider who would be able to hang on to these B's and get an advantage. We had this last Monday; it was called out that out group had 2 B's in there and it was me who was messaging them asking them to sit in the group and not pull us as it was giving us a slight advantage over the chasing group. Thankfully they did respond and did (mostly) stop their pulling, then when we hit the KoM they pulled away from us.

Milzy I don’t want to get into a mudslinging contest with you. I don’t have anything to gain. I feel like I’ve been attacked for saying I can’t forget when people cheat or do something out of order. If I’m in the minority of one and others are happy then so be it.

If you don’t call your daughter up on cheating she will never learn different and will grow up thinking cheating is ok. If you do call her up maybe she will learn better. But you know that as a good dad I’m sure. In your case it seems you won’t learn so there we are. Good luck
Thanks because your negative outlook on life just makes me want to eat healthier and exercise harder and become a better all around person.

 Where is my negative outlook on life? Milzy if you don’t like being called a cheat then don’t cheat. It’s fairly simple. Being negative is attacking other people when they call you up on it 👍.

But if I help you improve yourself then youre welcome.

I've missed all the updates around changes to Zwift cats and restrictions etc. Does my profile now show that I should be entering A cat and would be disqualified if I continued to enter B? It would be a bit ironic as I've never got anywhere near winning a B race

Now that it's the summer season and I now have a dedicated turbo bike, any Zwifting I do will be using the PM on the Kickr as my Vectors will be on the road bike. I suspect that using the Vector's on Zwift has given me an advantage (nothing intentional I can assure you, but rather so I can train consistently from the turbo onto the road) so it will be interesting to see if my Zwift performances show any deviation.
