DC Rainmaker has an interesting video comparing Alp D’hues on Zwift and FulGaz
I have that crankset about 5-years...aboout, it was included when i bought Quarq Riken R powermeter. I guess the price was close what DZero cost today with crankset. I replace Riken R because it didn't work any more, it didn't measure cadence and that's why it didn't show any power readings.
Yup, but been honest if i hadn't sram crankset already from the Riken R powermeter i might as well bought a power pedals. To be fair I just checked and Quarq with sram red is ‘only’ around £670 now so not much more than assioma’s. So I guess at that point you just have to decide what is better for you.

Having cycled outside once in the last....18 months(!) I'm inclined to go for a direct drive trainer before a power meter.
That said I am hoping to get out more often at some stage, was about to start commuting until covid hit
I bought my Assiomas for €639 (£561) on Black Friday directly from Favero.
I keep thinking of going this route.
I'd need to change to Look cleats. It probably sounds daft but that's put me off as I've worn Shimano SPD-SL for years and I keep thinking that someone is bound to make power pedals compatible with SPD-SL. But they don't
I should really just bite the bullet and get on with it
Do you use a pair or single sided?
Pair.
I loved spd as it made walking easier but soon got used to new type cleats.
