It's like real life Zwift out there just now. Streets nearly empty of cars, more bikes and runners :okay:
Are you sure there are more Runners and Riders? Or is it a case of having more time to look around, instead of trying to stay alive by not getting run over.

I just wish I was able to ride. Of course my issue is currently not a priority (I'm ok with that no matter how frustrating it is) so I'm not gonna get sorted in the near future.

👍👍 Ride On IRL

Boxer's London was surreal, very much 'I am Legend' scenario.

I was expecting the odd jogger and cyclists to jumped on by the Corona Zombies

The centre of town may be lightly traffic'd but the 'burbs still have some traffic around them, especially on the bus route/main roads (I was out and about foraging for bread and milk ysterday ). I've been out 3 times in the last 2 1/2 weeks.

I'm now like :banghead: just for entertainment :ohmy::laugh::sad::cry:

I'm on a Wattbike Atom and if you connect it via Bluetooth (but not ANT+ for some reason), Zwift will display what gear you're in, because you can't actually tell otherwise. Well you can, but only if you have the Wattbike app open at the same time, which then means you can't use the Zwift Companion app, so Zwift (to their credit) built the gear display into the game.
It would be neat if there would be possibility to modify zwift hud what information you want to see, little bit like bike computer. Electronic groupsets with ant+ protocol or bluetooth would also give possibility to show what gears you use.

That was the reason to collect my daughter. After being in isolation for 2 weeks she was going stir crazy in a small flat. She is now furloughed from work. Given this situation could roll on into the summer, it was beneficial to have her home so she can go for walks and cycling in the countryside.

Well I kind of enjoyed that race. I joined it with 30 minutes to spare so I was right at the front. @LBHIFI was already there and @peterob joined soon after. @Del C joined a fair bit later and @Brusgaard was there but maybe I'm not following him as he didn't flash on my screen. AT the start there were 122 B riders!

The start was mental. I did my highest 1 minute power (on ZP stats, not IRL) at the start and still ended up about 90th going into the first Prime. At the top, I was back to 55th and after a lap or so, the first split happened and I was in the second group which started about position 60. @Brusgaard and @LBHIFI were also in the group. I assumed Pete was in the lead group.

The next 8-9 laps followed a pattern of not being too hard to stay in the group on the flat - and then a hard 20 seconds up the prime. The group whittled down and also caught a few stragglers. We started the final lap at around position 50 and the pace went up. I hit the Prime near the fron of my group and maintained it up the hill - the pace flagged a bit as people prepared for the sprint and I entered the last corner in 59th having just started my sprint. Considering it had been a hard race, I had a reasonable sprint and finished 54th (51st on ZP) with Steen amd Lars all within 5 places.

I set my best ZP 1 minute and 5 minute powers and my overall NP was over my FTP so I'm fairly pleased. I'll have to practice sprinting at the start rather than VO2 maxing at the start - and then recovering

Like a few of us, I have uploaded the video

Congrats to Pete on his sprint successes and great work C's. (Not looked at D's yet).

I had to balance my first few minutes of effort against my HR. I was redlining for first lap and slowly recovering for lap 2 when the splits began. It was a wise move to stay in my pack, we collected quite a few riders late on once Chris's group made our pack a decent size. I probably could have gone a bit faster mid race-if i had a pack to join. There is no point busting a gut to try and bridge a 20 second gap, it isnt going to happen

I was pleased with my effort to finish. I've struggled with chest infections and lack of training/motivation over the months. My chest doesnt feel that bad this morning, so here is hoping I am upward turn,

Great results Martin and excellent power :okay:
