Have you seen silver position. 106kg with a HR of 142:eek: mine was higher than that putting my shoes on

Speaking of heart rates the poor fella above me looks like he might be following Petersen. Average 3bpm.

I changed the battery on my HRM just before the start or I might have been the same

Feck, not good. Wife not best pleased with me :headshake: It's a good job we're in lockdown, because if I was outside now with all the coughing and hacking they'd be calling an ambo and sticking me in an isolation ward :banghead: My own fault, forgot to take my tabs before the race (should take them 2 hours before riding) and with that crazy pace early on my chest just blew up.

Once dropped I tried to roll at an easy pace but even that was a struggle ... every time a group came by I tried to latch on for a free ride but just couldn't hang on. I was certainly lapped by Michael and the lead group, but may well have been lapped by others.

We now know the answer to the question, am I ready for B cat racing? Erm...... no

Superb riding by the team :wahhey:

Well I never thought I'd get excited about coming 83rd out of 91 on Zwiftpower but that was an improvement on last week!

Started much faster this week pushing about 340W out of the pen which meant I got into the last group and stayed with them for 12 laps! :wahhey:

What happened to @peterob ? He's down in last place at 42.18. I'm assuming a mechanical or did he just stop to take a few pictures?

I peaked at 196bpm this evening. Average 177 but that includes cool down. No wonder I felt sick on the finish line!
My HR was no higher than normal for me .... lungs gave up on me tonight, heart was fine  I'd better hope I don't get a dose of this virus, else I'm in trouble! Anyone want to put their name in the hat for my 2020 Roubaix if I cark it?

I saw you Carl loitering in front of my group for quite a while. I thought you were waiting for us to catch, our pace was just a tad quicker than you so it was nearly 2 laps to join you. I thought you were in my pack, but with all the action to stay in position I didn't see you drop off. Rest up and get the Meds taken. :okay:

Sorry to hear about that @Whorty and hope you’re sorted soon. I don’t know much about asthma, how long will the effects last?
Hopefully be ok in the morning with rest, but could last days if really bad (and requires steroids) but it's only been that bad for me when I have a chest infection too. When it's caused by exercise rest normally sorts it. I should have stopped really but I wanted to finish the league  Like I say .... wife is not best pleased with me :headshake:

I was rolling around, trying to get my breathing sorted, but when you guys caught me I just couldn't hold on - I tried for a few mins, but hacking up gunk told me not to be so stupid! I'll live to fight another day :boxing:

You and Chris were looking good at that point. I did wonder if your group would catch Nick, but I wasn't sure how far ahead he was at that point.

We just picked him up a lap or so before the finish. I was hoping to go for a sprint but the usual last ditch effort to get me up the cobbled bump with my pack pushed me to my absolute limit. I was just glad to hold on to them over the line
