Hi guys - hope you're all well and coping OK physically and mentally with the lock down?

I am going to set up a socail group ride (thanks @<Tommy> for suggesting this) for tomorrow (Wednesday - it's easy to lose track!) at 5pm UK time. This will be an easy ride with some chat, not a race, and I will turn on the "Keep everyone together" feature as well.

I'll invite everyone who follows me, so if you want to join us and don't get an invite, let me know on here and you may just need to follow me on Zwift so I can add you in.

Will be good to "see" as many of you guys as possible tomorrow :hello:

I visited the smoke, in a humanitarian capacity(collecting recovered daughter). I thought we were quiet around here. It was like a ghost town crossing London, saw only a few cars moving, more joggers than anybody else. I could see the sky too. Richmond park locked off to traffic.

Inside the M25 12 miles covered in less than 30 mins:ohmy:
Yeah. Sister in Law said her 1 1/2 hr comute is now about 25 minutes.

It's still a wait and see by the looks of it ... it feels like it should be simple, let a 'club' organise an event that starts in the pens, finishes at a finish point, and is recorded in ZwiftPower. I have a horrible feeling they will focus on the 'club' stats and the bits that no one wants, because it's easier and forget about the racing/riding functionality.

I hope you’re wrong. I know what you mean. I just hope you’re wrong...

Just skim reading it sounds like established clubs will get the first look at it. And even then the timeline For rolling out features seems a bit vague. So maybe winter ‘22 we get to see it first hand in cc?

10th in D, but probably 4th on ZwiftPower. Stayed with leaders for 7 laps, one lap with another dropped rider, then he dropped me and I soloed the rest. May have picked up a few bonus points on the early sprints.

Sodded up my recording, but managed to get the end of the race. Knowing that the nearest riders to me were over 30 seconds (both behind and ahead), I carried on pedalling but swapped cameras to the front of the race. One of the favourites did a 6 w/kg up the Prime and broke the leading pack of 4 apart. He had 5 seconds on 2nd at the bottom of the rollers but then just cruised at 3 w/kg to the finish line from there. I swapped to 2nd place (who won last week) and he was smashing it at 7.5 w/kg and I think may have squeaked past on the line - will have to wait for ZP official results to see for sure.

Yowza. On the limit the whole time there. Couldn't get my heart rate under 160 the whole race.

Picked up a lot of 3rd and 4th on sprints for the first half the dug in until the last two laps. Finished just outside the top 10 in the road so hoping with dqs and sprint points I will sneak up a bit and cement overall place in 7th or higher if lucky.

as I was saying to @BurningLegs you couldn't do that course every week, can't be good for you.

All in all loved this race series and well done everyone who took part.
