Excellent plan. I'll see you in the gruppetto!
I was saying to the wife this morning, I could see you and Andy going for the first 2 sprints on Tuesday to get team points :okay: Both sprints will be within first 15 mins .... burn all your matches and just roll in after that ^_^ i aim to try and hang on to the lead group as long as possible to get placing points as my sprint is rubbish :surrender:

Just created a workout that I've tried to mimic what I'll need to do on Tuesday ..... let's see if I can complete it at 100%

Keeping fingers crossed that TOC in June will be OK - I noticed yesterday the "Mountain Mayhem" MTB event in June was cancelled because the organisers couldn't get insurance cover....

.

That's going to be common in a few weeks. Virtually all large public events will face the chop

First sprint is after about 4km, and will probably pick up just before the hairpin even though the sprint official doesn't start until about 150 mtrs after the turn. Sprint itself about 15 seconds - this is the segment https://www.strava.com/activities/3066073146/segments/76065669022

Second sprint is a bit downhill too, and is at the 7.5km point. (link here https://www.strava.com/activities/3066073146/segments/76065671528) My PB for this is 22 seconds.

You will need to finish the race for points to count but you'll pick up a group I would think to roll around with.

Giving it you all on those 2 sprints should see you do well, as I'm guessing most peeps in the lead group will be looking for placings and won't want to burn too many matches on the first 2 sprints with the climbs coming up :okay:

Did a race this morning - 11.40 DIRT Doozy Race. It was on "The Magnificent 8" course which I haven't ridden before. Missed the break after 4 1/2 miles as it started before the Watopia KOM where I thought it would be. I ended up in the next group which started as 4 riders, then became 8 in 20-28 position. Much of the rest of the race was at easy pace, neither catching the leaders or being caught by the group behind - then it wound up over the last 2 miles and I came 22nd of 50 starters or 10th of 18 on ZP.

Enjoyed, but annoyed I missed the split and concerned that my sprint was rubbish. I wonder if the time off and weight loss I had with food poisoning has robbed me of my sprint.

In case anyone is really bored - I captured it and it is on Youtube

What did you do to record the ride inthe end @Norry1 ? When you asked a while back I had suggested the Windows feature where you press windows+G to get the control options to record the screen but I've since found this won't work on Zwift when it's in full screen mode

Fame again - this time for the initial sprint. It's nice this time not to be mentioned regarding being dropped

Fill in the blanks from Google translate....
However, on the short descent, the group was not established yet and there were constant gaps between the riders. It took advantage of the ranking setter, Kenneth Larsen, to catch the first inning in front of Peter Robinson and Mads Dellgren.
