She's effectively bed bound (she has a special bed/chair thing) so it's not like she can walk away - I have a captive audience

Seriously though, she's a big sports fan. She likes watching the cycling with me so when i talk about our races, she understands most of it. She always asks me how I got on, what tactics I tried and what worked. She always asks about your knee too Bob

Hang on a minute !! We have had months - no -years of metatarsal , anterior cruciate ligament , tibia , fibula, patella ,ligaments ,tendons ,meniscus ,bursitis ,plc and cartilage without asking and then someone comes along and asks how’s the knee , we all wince and all she gets is a “good”

to be honest I thought if she has to listen to Carl going on about e- racing tactics the last thing she wants to know about is my knee 😁
