Great rides for Carl and Michael and kudos to Chris and Andy for good places.

Annoyingly, I'm going to finish just outside the points. 30th on Zwiftpower and only 4 seconds covering 23rd to 33rd places.

The leg snapper really did for me. I was with the front group on the first lap, got gapped by a couple of seconds on the first climb but got back on and was still with the lead group on the second climb, just behind Michael. Lost another couple of seconds near the top but this time I couldn't quite close the gap on the second descent and decided to settle into a group of 4 that formed, hoping I could pick up points for the team.

I pushed hard on the 3rd lap as I didn't think my 3 colleagues were doing enough to keep the chasing group behind us, and we were eventually caught on the cobbles after the bridge. Held my place better on the 3rd climb and then a group of about 12 formed on the descent that stayed together until the line.

Really enjoyed the race. This is a great series of races. It would be great if we can do some more of these things. Just wish I could have finished a few places higher in the group I was in at the finish line.

All changed again .... you're 17th now ^_^

More than happy with that!:hyper:just seeing my average w/kg was actually a fair bit lower than those around me so got lucky with the drafting.

Can't believe the guy who won also won all the sprints. Chapeau.

Well done chaps. Great reading the race reports. My fall from Grace continued...firstly missing the start in the masters race, jumped into the 3R supercrit but with only 4 mins warmup I was shelled out of the pack in just 1km. I tottled along for a few laps getting lapped by the bunch and so decided to hike over to Richmond for the KISS 8pm race. A small field with only 10 A’s - I tried for a while to hold with a few of the faster A’s but my form was shit3 so I made the tactical move of letting the As go and waiting for the larger group of B’s who started 1 minute down. It almost paid off as the group caught the remaining As with 1k to go but alas I took stomach cramps just as the pace was on and I couldn’t take advantage. Ho hum...roll on 7th April when my ZP category should be cleansed of Assioma data.
