Felt hard tonight, just couldn't hold a wheel on the climb. I was 5 secs behind at the top of the climb, this stretched to 15 at the bottom of the dip. Happened on all three occasions. Good ride everyone. Ill now go seek the results

edit cracking result Carl, Michael, kudos too to Del, Chris

Pretty shattered after that!

I stuck near the front for the first lap and manged to bag some points for a 3rd place sprint on lap 1 ^_^. Saw @Milzy up there too but we both got dropped on the climb on the 2nd lap. I ended up in the 2nd group and Adam in the third. I got dropped from my group on the climb on the 3rd lap and solo'd to the end, just managing to hold off Adam's fast finishing group. 33rd place finish so no extra points (other than the sprint bonus points).

Looking at ZwiftPower, it looks like the Cat C's had a good race with a few Cyclechatters in the points. Well done guys :okay:

Felt a bit heavy legged this evening, probably last night's out door ride. Even so my power figures weren't bad considering. I Think my Wahoo chest strap is a bit hit and miss. I'm Going to go for a wrist band next. Ducked out of the Club AGM meeting to race instead.

Well done guys, especially @Whorty for 15th on zwiftpower at the minute.

Had a great time there! I'm definitely glad I used the meilsteins as I really feel it helped me stay in touch- Took 7 seconds off my previous best on the legsnapper and thought I was going to take the sprint but got pipped to 3rd and heart rate shot up to 180 (highest I've ever seen it!). Thought that was me out of the race but got got a fair bit of recovery time and was able to stay with front group until the second legsnapper when the field broke into a few groups and some kind soul towed me towards whortys group which I clung onto the bottom of like a limpet.

It was a bit of a strange one as I kept looking at the group behind with @Del C in it but we almost caught the front group at the base of the climb! If we had a few more hundred metres we might have went through them at the foot of the climb- If I was thinking I should have done some work to allow Carl to latch on as I was always going to finish at the back of the two groups joined together, as indeed I did, having a bunch sprint to finish 26th on the road, where as he was looking strong at the front of our group.

Haven't looked too much at zwiftpower but if a couple of people are taken out we might manage 3 of us in the points.

Well done all ,great ride Carl, Michael and Del ,should be in the points for the team when they sort out Zwiftpower, I am glad you was there Andy to give me a wheel , pleased with my ride as quite a few PB’s up from last time around that course

Well done all , they don’t chat much on the message board before the race do they😀

I was a little surprised to see you again Chris as you powered away from me second time up the Hugel. I tried to do what you did and lead into the climb, first bit, we(me and you) did that, after that I just went backwards:wacko:

I rode the last couple of miles alone, and licked my wounds

Well done all. Great effort to get the sprint points peterob, and so close to getting those rank points :notworthy:
Maybe there'll be some DQ's.

I think I'll now start to prioritize workout sessions. Still planning to do the race series, but legs will most likely not be 100%.

I cocked that final climb up completely! Didn't realise we were so close to the lead group and I was at the back of our group going into the 3rd climb. I attacked and went through our group and chased to the leaders but I was about 15 metres short and they were gone by the time I crested :banghead: Had I been at the front of our group I may have bridged :cursing:

I saw you going for the sprint, and the chasers going with you. I had itchy feet and nearly followed too, but that would have been the end of the race for me  I had already had to chase on from the off - somehow I ended up about 70th out the gate and almost missed the lead group breaking away - had to push far too hard to bridge across

Blinking great race. And really good to see the B chaps doing so well :wahhey: Well done all :okay:

I got to the top ok but had nothing left over the top to keep with the group so rode alone till your group caught me up again
