You're right - it is. Maybe my brilliant theory is wrong thenI didn’t realise it was averaged out over 90 days. I thought it was taken from your 3 best rides over 90 days.
That seems stupidly easy to game the system.

I was having to hold 4 w/kg to hold on to the lead C group on that climb Like I say, there were a few sandbaggers last night pulling the C group apart.Just watched Steen's video of last nights event, pretty much mirrored my experience on the 'col du saddle springs' bump
He was holding 3.9-4.2W/kg whilst the lighter riders were mid 4.5-4.9W/kg
Left in no mans land at the crest
Sandbaggers..., they seem to ruin your ride few times recently.I was having to hold 4 w/kg to hold on to the lead C group on that climb Like I say, there were a few sandbaggers last night pulling the C group apart.

Also, to be fair it was quite a short race at 30 minutes so people - if not knackered like me! -would be able to put out higher watts for that length of time than in the longer races.
I don't think I'd have managed 4w/kg even if fresh to be honest! That’s actually a relief to be honest.
Yeah if you were fresh you’d of definitely gone over the threshold too. Not that I have any sympathy 😁
Funny how zwift categorisation plays out sometimes isn’t it. When I first signed up I remember preaching that they should adopt a point system like outdoor racing. But I’m not sure that’s workable really. Who knows.
They change the dynamic of the race if each cat is segregated. It means that stronger riders in that cat get help to break free of not quite as strong riders. There is an argument to say that, as they are strong enough to hold on then they deserve to break free, but if the B riders had not been there last night, the strong C riders would have had to work harder to break free, thus using their own energy reserves rather than relying on others.Sandbaggers..., they seem to ruin your ride few times recently.
Noooooo - I'll be watching this later. No spoilersJust watching UAE-Tour from Eurosport. Doesn't matter how much there is empty space on the road, there is always crash, even in a middle of 6-lane road.
Don't know is it fair to point accusing finger towards to sandbaggers, i think that sadly famous sticky draft is done most of those damages. Anyway it's train your self-control/patientThey change the dynamic of the race if each cat is segregated. Did it impact me? Probably not in the scheme of things - I held on to the lead group for over half the ride, and I probably could have stayed on over the Italian village and the downhill if I'd tried but was happy to sit up. I have no sprint so wouldn't be contesting at the end anyway even if I had made it to the end
Just started to use the workouts on Zwift and need some tips, big ring or little ring ? When they say 50 cadence is it compulsory or can I just adjust my cadence to suit my riding style, my watts seam to fluctuate rapidly and it’s showing more power less power quite a lot
Nothing quite like racing to the top of a hill against an unsuspecting rider who's just out there doing their own thing! At least it sounds like this guy joined in though!I did my own little race yesterday. It wasn’t an official race. It won’t be mentioned on zwiftpower, and it didn’t even have a start line. But about halfway up box hill me and the bloke side by side with me knew we had just entered a race. Either that it was just a complete coincidence we both decided to start knocking out 5w/kg after a bit of back and fourth. I feel slightly bad for using a feather near the top of the climb. But then again at least it let us both know that there was no misunderstanding. It was on! Whatever advantage leafy gave me he clawed back with about 100 metres to go. But I did him by a bike length through the barrier at the top. Bosch! How you like them apples son!! Walked out of that spare room with a swagger that no man in Lycra should have the right to own.
Sad life we lead isn’t it?... 😁😁

That is not what I read. I read that you will be DQ if your FTP during the ride is more than 4 watt/k (in cat B). So, e.g. if you averaged 4.2 watt/kg and the race is less than an hour, it's ok since 4.2 * 0.95 <= 4 (the 20 min FTP calc).I didn’t realise it was averaged out over 90 days. I thought it was taken from your 3 best rides over 90 days.
