I've learnt my lesson never warm up with Bob as it turns into a race:laugh:

That's why he never finishes races, he's burnt his matches warming up

Hoping to be online for the kiss race @ 8 o’clock. Literally will be getting in through the front door & straight into the garage, have no idea how I will get on but going for C Cat again.
SImilarly. Though in my case it's straight from a meeting to the trainer. I'll be changed and have everything set up and with any luck I might even get a couple seconds to warm up.

Much better luck with watching Zwift race today. Fan view worked (sometimes). Noticed the race position just under the map. Do you also see this during the race?

Sorry chaps, I opted to bail tonight. My heart rate went very high over 190 bpm at one point, and I was getting very out of breath so decided to slow down but my HR was still really high compared to my effort.

Since stopping my throat is starting to feel sore so I’m guessing I might have the start of a virus.

It’s either that or the adrelaline of rushing around before the event...

Out of interest has anyone else ever experienced a high hr when poorly. Even my resting HR is about 25-30 bpm higher than normal...

I have, I was on a ride, riding along on the flat not really putting a lot of effort in and HR was 180 and wouldn't come down. A day later I had a full blown cold.

Yes you do.

Jeff, great race mate! You got away fast with the lead group and there was no catching. I had problems on first 2 laps because I couldn't get the chain off the 34 onto the 50. I oiled it beforehand and must have done something to it. Once I go it on I tried to get the second group to chase you guys down but they wouldn't bite and I reigned it in a bit just catching the odd strangler. I sprinted a few times causing the turbo to move a bit .i must get it sorted. It left the bike leaning a bit coz the floor is uneven. I was pissed now determined to finish and finish well. I saved my Aero for when we entered the volcano on the las 450m and sprinted after the 2 guys 20 or so m ahead and took them meters before the line. I am well chuffed especially after last nights w7 fail.
Well done all.
Monte, hope you don't go down with anything.
Finally great to see so many cyclechatters on the start tonight .look forward to working and racing as a team!
