@IrishAl

Did you get my last message about the HRM, I was having the same problem ,when I finished Zwifting I would take mine off and hang it over the handlebars , and next time nothing but problems , I now take it off and hang it up on the back of the bedroom door away from my zwifting set up and no more problems
Thanks Chris. Normally I hang it up over a radiator immediately after to dry it out (and pre-heat it for the next time). I’ll test the battery with a multi meter just to be sure but I expect the batteries are ok as there are dated 2026.

Would love to be able to say that was a good read but  didn’t try hard enough at school

Ever heard of Google translate? That why I posted the link. :-)

Anyways. I'll translate the bit from the image. I think I can do it better that Google anyway. Correct me, if I'm wrong.

Here goes:

"In the B-cat DBR must be the favourites with 33 riders starting, but also Team Fusion Devevlopment with 17 riders is well represented.
However, these 2 biggest teams should not underestimate KST, CycleChat and eCKD with six, five and four riders.
In total 158 riders has signed up for the B-cat at Tuesday afternoon.

In C-cat DBR also has the biggest team with 26 riders, but eCKD with eight, CycleChat with four and Team POAuto with three are the ones to shake things up.
In total 126 riders has signed up for the B-cat at Tuesday afternoon."

I think I quit after about 30 mins. Guy I was behind at the time finished on the hour, which shows how far off the pace I was compared to the rest of our team! Had been a bit chesty all day but wasn't quite expecting the asthma to kick off. Got a stinking headache now so think I have a bit of a bug which has triggered the asthma.

Oh well. The only way is up ^_^

Well done everyone else 👍 Def be joining the C's next week - no point me being completely at the back when I could be helping the C cat guys

Pity about today but team c will welcome you with open arms! Plenty of people on zwiftpower averaging 3.4 (and one 3.5w/kg) for nearly an hour in the c group.

Well that was an unexpectedly fast start.

I got really badly caught out and was about 104th out of around 120 just after leaving the pens. Managed to work my way back up to the 70s before the race settled down and that's where I stayed to the end. Came in 75th on the app and 54th on Zwiftpower.

I feel like I'm getting stronger again, but the results just aren't there. 2 months of riding just group rides and not racing has put a bigger dent in my performance than I expected. Stamina seems to be coming back, as I worked strongly in my group to the end. Starts are well down. Whether that's physical or just some mental block I don't know, but until I sort it out things won't get any better.

Anyhow, I'm off with my wife to Copenhagen tomorrow for 3 days. I don't think I'll take the turbo with me. She wouldn't be too happy! But I may see if I can contact the Danish League organiser and see how I can bribe him to improve my position improve my contribution to the league.

To help against battery drain, its recommended to unplug the heart strap from one of the terminals. The tickr seems to go to sleep and reduces battery consumption

Hope you're feeling ok @Whorty

That was ridiculously fast at the start. I sprinted to stay with the first group early on but then got dropped on the first 10% ramp. Spent the rest of the race in a group of 5 until 1km from the end when we got swallowed up by a fast finishing group. Ended up midway in the group sprint.

Looks like it's going to be tough to get any points in B cat (other than for finishing)
Just see this @Whorty mate. Hope your feeling better. :okay:

Sorry chaps. Had to bail. Having asthma attack :banghead: I was off the back anyway (148 out of 173) :surrender: Don't think I'm ready to ride with B cat yet  Was dropped after first 0.3km :B)

Need to rest ... feeling pretty sh1t
Seemed to have quelled the asthma this morning, but still have a bit of a cold so (wife has told me) it's best to rest today. That was my first full on attack for ages and i forgot how bad they are  Hopefully can have a spin on Thursday (if wife agrees)
