I am at my lowest for 25 years plus 12st 6 lbs and If I could remove all the loose flappy skin I would loose at lease another 6lbs😀
Same here (with exception of flappy skin ). If I get to 70kg or lower, this will be the weight I was an Uni ^_^ I'm already lighter than I was when I got married 21 years ago

Is there going to be a team time trial? If so I’ll sign up to the league so I can pitch in for the team.

not sure in the Danish league but there is always a team time trial every Thursday at 1940GMT organised by WTRL. if enough cc’ers want to enter - it isn’t a series as such so a team can enter as a once off and it is organised into categories based on split of A/B/C/D riders.

Another effect of using the Danish races is that we'd have to use riders finishing times as the basis of awarding our points. This would give Al an advantage over the B's (as he'd get dragged along by a faster group) and similarly the B's would get an advantage over the C's etc (you may want to ride in B cat Del :okay:). I don't think there's another way around it. If we were to use a points based system then we may as well just use the league placings direct from the Danish league.

I think the 'best 5 from 7' counting overall is a good idea though. And I'm happy with the scoring system proposed (20 points for the CC stage 'winner' etc).
Agreed that the race times across cats could skew the results. But you’re assuming there that I can hold onto the wheels of the A*/A riders. A big assumption atm

Looking at the field entered already I’m down about 40th favourite in the A race and that was with Assioma power lol.
I don’t think there’s an easy answer unless you all join A?

The flappy loose skin is the after effects of being a fat bast**d for 30ish years 😀😂😂😂😂

Anybody get any recommends for good cycling cd’s to get a rhythm going as just set up a small hifi next to my trading area

That’s a dangerous ask on this forum😁 What do you like?
A randomise suggestion is Eric Minns zwift Spotify play list.

Personally, tempo for races, something more chilled for group rides.

I've been wiped out since Saturday. I did a great (well horrible) VO2 Max workout on Friday and had a fairly steady Z2 ride to do on Saturday. after about half an hour I pulled the plug, feeling tired and a bit off. Slept a psycedelic sleep for 20 hours and it turned into a nasty stomach bug which is now keeping me off work. Gonna completely starve it today and get some Imodium - was up c20 times last night
Started to feel sorry for you but remembered the Valentine bike and decided to give you a very basic. That's too bad. Seriously GWS.

Assuming the lower cats go off first, I think the stronger riders in those cats will have a big advantage over the slower riders in higher cats .. let me explain ....

D off first, followed by C, B and finally A. The assumption is that the faster cats will catch the slower cats. This will mean that there will be a chance that the stronger riders in say C, could potentially jump on the B train as it comes past (like the Hare and Hound races).

Now consider poor little me in B cat. Dropped in the first 2 mins and riding on my own. I might catch a few D and C stragglers in the race, but I'm unlikely to reach the main C group who will be now having a free ride with the lead B group.

The way I see it, every C rider should beat my time easily. No excuses :cuppa:
