Well here's the final league table for the Tour de Zwift. Well done to the dirty dozen who completed all stages :okay:

A new name at the top this month - Congrats @<Tommy> on an impressive 7 stages and fully deserved. It looks like you may be stepping up to Cat A soon (give Al some company). @Milzy pushed Tommy close all the way and Berty completed the podium.

Another imminent promotion looks in @Whorty's sights as he triumphs in the C cat. Well done sir! And well done @Joffey - a full set of results and an obvious improvement trend over the tour

Not sure when the next league will run. Tuesday's looks like it may be the new Danish team comp for a short while, but if there's a desire to set up a new league let me know!

Why couldn't we use the Danish league races as the Cyclechat league but run it over the next 7 weeks.

We could award points in the same way as the Danish league is doing for finishing positions, say 20 for 1st place, 15 for 2nd, 12 for 3rd, 10 for 4th, etc down to 2 for 13th and then 1 point for all other finishers.

Accepting not everybody can ride all 7 races, then maybe base the overall points table on each rider's best 5 results?

Then, each race would have an individual winner and places based on the times, but with a points table to decide the overall series?

This would be a piffling thing to load into a spreadsheet for an excel professor such as @peterob !

All of that was just off the top of my head, so feel free to improve it. Anyhow, what are people's views?

I'm hoping this would also encourage all others who haven't signed up to join the Danish league series. We then get stronger teams in the Danish league even if we can't get everyone riding in every race , but also we can run our closed Cyclechat league in parallel, as people know they only have to ride 5 of the 7 events to compete the Cyclechat league.

Sounds fine to me

Go for it. But I would just keep it to all seven Rounds to encourage everyone to take part in as many races as possible. I don’t know how the scoring system will work across the categories. But I have no problem going with the standard points awarded-but maybeCategory A riders should start out each race on a minimum of 35 points.!

The reason I suggested best 5 out of 7 was to get as many as possible to join up for the parallel Cyclechat league, in case they were reluctant to commit to all 7 stages in the Danish league.

Ideally, I'd like everyone ride all 7 stages, just like you say. But if that's not possible I thought this would be the next best thing.

Do all cats start together tomorrow @Brusgaard ? And do all cats ride the same distance?

According to companion app it’s 1 minutes difference between cats but Same distance

@<Tommy> congratulations on the league win now its officially official!

You joining us in the Danish league on Tuesdays?

Thanks bridgy 👍👍

I’m going to pass on the danish league I think sorry mate (and chaps). I’m working quite a lot at the moment and I’d rather not have to commit to racing at a specific time each week. I’ll obviously follow with interest and cheer you all along though!

Is there going to be a team time trial? If so I’ll sign up to the league so I can pitch in for the team.

Like in most races, zPower is NOT allowed and @Edwardoka will be DQ.
Yep, I figured as much. Plus, I was in the middle of writing a post saying that I wasn't going to be participating when you wrote this
I was already intending to let my subscription expire at the end of the month in favour of a mix of riding outdoors and focused indoor sessions.

As much fun and hard work as the racing is, without a smart trainer or power meter it's setting unrealistic expectations, and the Tour de Zwift seemed to be mainly really good at making me overtrained. The last thing I need is more racing :heat:

I'm level 11, all I want to do before my membership lapses is to unlock and climb the Alpe du Zwift just to say I've done it.

This isn't a flounce, I'll be back (next winter )

No, nobody answered my question on their Facebook post. @LBHIFI asked them too somewhere, but I don’t think he got an answer either.

But you get Lee, Thomas and Adam onboard the B-train first, then we’ll worry about team sizes.
No answer about team rules. The question/comments scheme related to the races really sucks, so I don't think anyone saw the question.
They have a e-Cycling section in the forum, but no mention of it there.
