There's only four frames that are faster than the Tron on flat or rolling courses, and they're only faster if you pair them up with the Zipp 858/Super 9 wheelset which is only available if you're level 45 or above. So yeah, I still use the Tron bike pretty much exclusively unless I'm doing something like Alpe Du Zwift (I'm only level 34)

What bike do you use for climbing mate? I have the trek emonda and I’ve just bought the cervelo r5 which has the same basic star rating, but I don’t know which is best under testing.

I use the Specialized Tarmac Pro which is the fastest climber now (level 11 so you shoudl be able to get it). I'm lucky enough to have unlocked the Lightweight Meilenstein wheelset which are the best climbing wheels so pair it up with these. If you don't have these wheels, next best are the Enve SES 3.4

I just bought the enve’s but I already had the lightweights 👍.

Is the tarmac pro better than the s-works? I only ask because The challenge I'm doing now is for the s-works tarmac.

See Juhal's link above - the S-works isn't even in the top 6. Actually the guy who wrote the artice does make the point that it should really be the Tarmac S-works Superlight in first place rather than the Pro, but that's what Zwift have done!

I did the Surrey hills route a few weeks back. I had done the loop, the wife came in, requested I finished for dinner. I missed completing the route by 0.6 mile. So I had to do it again.

Strava has a different segment to Zwift's route unlock. You need to ride up and over Foxhill twice
I did it too a few weeks ago. Did the full loop back to Fox Hill and no unlock. I rolled a bit up the hill and figured there was something wrong so quit. This was a ride that took the best part of 2 hours ... only to find out that yes, you need to go up Fox Hill a 2nd time and you get the unlock at the top :banghead: Oh well .... it's helping me get fit

Yes that list is clearly out of date. I remembered that i saw list somewhere where was mentioned S-Works is fastest.

Personally, I think the Tron bike should be excluded from all races. It's a bit too easy* to get and once you have it rarely is there a race profile that it's worth switching to another bike (a race up the Alpe being one of the exceptions). But, whilst it's allowed I'll continue to use it ^_^

* By 'easy' i mean it requires you to 'climb' a lot, but actually you don't really need to 'climb' to get the ascent metres. You could just set up workouts and aim for the hills - you climb but without the real effort.

@JuhaL , @<Tommy> which "S-Works" exactly are you talking about? I was thinking you meant a Tarmac S-works but I can't see that listed as a Zwift bike - am I missing something or do you mean another S-Works like the Venge?
