Shite I don't think I'm gonna make this, now have a bit of a chest infection and made my daughter sick. Still hoping for a miraculous recovery this afternoon. I'll defo try and watch though!

It does sound like this could be a very exciting race format going forwards

What do you reckon @bobinski? Do we work together to try and bring them in? Maybe get Lars to latch on too?
You can try Pete, but with our super speed train you'll have no chance :reading:

hopefully

@Alongo I don't have a TT time for you on this course as you didn't do teh October league so I've had to estimate a start time. Over the 3 stages we both completed in the last league, you were 1 minute behind me, so I have used this as a basis for your start time - could be a bit generous of me I think if you're on top form

@Whorty sorry - I had forgotten to do you a time. The excuse Tsar has spkoken I'm afraid, so time based on your October result - sorry, I don't make the rules 🤷‍♂️

I’m probably not going to make it tonight. I’ll try my best but 6 is probably unrealistic for me to get on the bike and be warmed up.

Bridgy it occurred to me that maybe that desert course on watopia is good for handicap races too. The thing I like about watopia is it’s not super congested and also that course in particular is mostly flat with some lumps at the end so good for working out handicap times. Just a thought though.

Both "Tick Tock" and "Tempus Fugit" would be perfect for TT/handicap races. One is pan flat, the other has a few little lumps for Lee to fly over, but should give fairly consistent times. At about 19km both would be about 30 mins (ish) in duration, so if Paul is able we could do a double loop meetup to make the ride an hour in length. Plus, with watopia being always available we could actually do this every week ...... maybe

Remember I'm one third up Col d'Aspin at the appointed time, so please disregard me for tonight.

I thought that name sounded familiar. You know which side you’re climbing on bkool? Myself berty, bob and breedon climbed it a couple of years ago.

It’s the only day I’ve had in the mountains that I really didn’t enjoy. I’d like to go back one day to put it right.

lee and me raced one a few months ago. Maybe it’s the tic tick one. Pan flat and then a few hills at the end? Really nice racing course I thought. I would of one that day but I stopped to tie my shoelaces on one of the hills and lee didn’t have the decency to wait

Remember, you actually have until 6.21 until you start racing so if you can just get zwift started and join the meetup before 6pm you could still have 20 minutes warmup

We start in Saint-Marie de Campan. I did this in January 2016 on BKOOL in 36m39s. I think I've done it from the other side a couple of times on BKOOL too, but that was way back in 2015/2016 as well.

Expecting a finish time around 40-45 minutes tonight on the NEO. :surrender:

Ridden it in real life from both sides, and on Bkool from the St Marie de Campan side.

The descent to Arreau is one of my favourites.
