Yes Pete. Reset my times as follows:-Are you sure you don't want your weekend time to count Al? I think your previous time was 1:00:32.
Anyone else having a bout of conscience and want their times adjusting?
stage 2 - 1:00:35
stage 3 - 16:28

I'm amazed every day at your Strava feed. I have a vision of a shop keeper outside leaning on a broom checking his watch twice a day as you go by thinking to himself, Lars is fast again today. But what kind of shop does he have with no customers and a sidewalk that needs sweeping twice a day?TT stage: 17:03.
Putting in a massive dose of zone 2 is a bit of an experiment for me. I didn’t feel any fitter doing the TT but did notice a slightly lower HR. Also recorded slightly lower rest HR at 45.
A weekend of recovery didn’t seem to be enough for me, since my legs still felt tired. I had to take a few breaks along the way.
I’ll continue my CTL build, despite, with zone 2 rides and hope it will eventually enable me to take it to a new level.
Stage Four Preview - Muir and the Mountain
Zwift Insider Route description - https://zwiftinsider.com/muir-and-the-mountain/
Spawn site And Lead in
I tried three test meet ups and each time I spawned by the starting pens near Titans Grove. FYI...On the third test event I increased the event distance and still spawned at the same place.

It looks like a very short lead in to the start of the Zwift Insider verified segment so a warm up pre race will be a good idea as I expect the pace to be hot hot hot 🔥
I didn’t ride to the start but Zwift Insider reports no official start banner so we will need to decide if we do a short neutralised lead in to the turn for titans grove or just go from the gun? I would suggest the short lead in to make sure no one is sleeping.

OK so lets's get this right Mr @<Tommy> - you invite people (who had already set a time) to join you on an additional Saturday re-run of stage 3 because you couldn't make the original meetups; Lee and I then join you, and all three of us get a cracking time as a result; you then persuade everyone that having additional goes at a stage is a bit unfair and shame us into potentially disowning those additional attempts as Al has done......leaving you out on your own with the best time on stage two by quite some margin. Clever, very clever
You hopefully know me well enough to know I'm joking - but you can sod off if you think I'm scrapping that stage two time - I can re-think the ethics next month . @IrishAl for what its worth I think you should keep your fastest times because what you've done is no different to anyone else this month or any other - the issue about repeated attempts has only just come up really, and opinions are still split on it anyway. But it's obviously up to you, and I do admire your honesty and morals - which are clearly superior to mine
Also, thanks Al for the summary of the final stage route - really helpful. How obvious is the entrance to Titans Grove, which is where the timed Strava segment starts? And I'm not clear whether you are suggesting we do roll together to the start of the segment or go full gas from the very start?
Firstly -
If it’s any consolation I’ve completely shot myself in the foot... Yet again...I’ve been pretty ill the last few days. But I know if I don’t race tonight Im in trouble in the league. I’m never going to persuade anyone else to join me on a Saturday ever again now! And I’ll be stuffed completely doing it solo. I can here Berty and Pete sharpening their bloody knives as they read this by the way. And if I try and even utter my illness as an excuse, Bob, Del, and pretty much every other person in here whos excuses I’ve remorseless disregarded and mocked over the years will be all over it in a flash!
I’ve offended @BurningLegs who seems like a very mild mannered rational chap. And all this coz I don’t like doing TT’s! Oh, Did I mention I was ill?....
Having said all that...I liked Alan’s idea about a rolling start into the grove. I don’t know the course to be honest, is there an landmark we need to look out for?

Thanks for that Al - I never realised that ZwiftPower had a live tracking option! How Zwift calculates time gaps...
https://zwiftinsider.com/time-gaps/
I expect a time gap of greater than 60 seconds at the foot of the radio tower later. 😂
I thought Zwift calculation was a bit more scientific than what it actually is. I thought also took account of your power output and gradient. Thanks for that Al - I never realised that ZwiftPower had a live tracking option!
