8th out of 38 in the cat C so quite pleased with that. Got into a good group at the start so didn’t have to push too hard to keep in touch.
The worst scenario for me is getting into a group that’s to fast at the start. By the time I realise I’m not going to make it it’s normally too late and I explode and get spat straight out the back of the group I should have been in! Thankfully this time I got it right and quite pleased with the result.
Absolutely zero chat though!

i find them races are a proper fast pace and always get spat out of the group , well done - with the nights dropping in a little , the race numbers will start going up again - and maybe some of these ccers will come out of retirement

I went out and got filthy on the MTB last night. Weather is looking like Zwift tonight.
I might just have been busy on ebay. Picked up 3 x 22" wide screen monitors for £36 in total. Two identical, and one slightly older model. I'm hoping to rig up two to either run Zwift on one screen and streaming music on other from an i5 desktop, or 1 monitor connected to the gaming laptop, and 1 connected to the desktop, and try and get Zwift companion running on the i5 via an android emulator on one of the screens, rather than my old Samsung tab 2 !

Zwift with an i5 (5th gen) with integrated graphics 8mb ram and SSD ? Runs fab on the gaming laptop (i7 4th gen, 16gb ram Nvidia graphics), but will save me hiking it out to the garage.

That's why I bought an Apple TV, @fossyant - I got fed up with moving the laptop around. Sounds like a minor thing but getting the laptop setup and plugged in etc was the main setup time for me. Now I have an Apple TV always connected and waking instantly, it makes the whole setup so much easier!

I think the i5 should run Zwift OK - but either way I'll sort something out. If I can get the I5 running, I can fold up the 'work bench' that the laptop sits on. The i5 PC sits on a shelf, and I plan bolting both monitors to the shelf..
Will be fine, I run it on a i5 laptop with Intel built in graphics and 8gb ram, no ssd. It works, not the best graphics but perfectly fine.

Just tried it on 1080p in watch mode, and seems OK. Will ride properly tomorrow as it took an age to re-position my shelves for the new monitor.
