Even though the fires are hundreds of miles north of us there is a haze that has drifted down to Sitka. It has been a very dry summer even in the rain Forest.

You pay a lot for a lighter more efficient bike but since you’ve lost so much weight and developed more power you can just buy a cheap heavy one. Even a 25 pound bike will still have you breaking even - with your loss it will be like riding a 1 pound bike.

I did short bicycle ride today and i stop to watch triathlon competition during that ride. I had hilarious comment one triathlons when he was ride his bike and i was watching side of the road. He ask me am i suspended for drafting or is that a fashion show .

Is there much difference about prices from which country you buy/order Specialized?. Of course always better if you can make a deal with closest retailer.

There is. I know from when I got my tarmac they’re a bit cheaper in the states for example. But they won’t export between countries.

Here in Finland is a bit of similar situation with Trek bikes. You can't order Trek anywhere else than in Finland and you need to get it directly from retailer because they won't send it to you.

its the same here. In 2005 I bought a Trek Pilot and I had to fly down to Seattle just to show up in person to order it. Our LBS didn’t carry Trek.

Wasn't a very long day and other than Nibali it was almost like paint drying and seeing what ran out the back when they had laid it on too thick!
