In that case my vote would be 5 laps Innsbruck Ring

Well having raced 2 laps earlier I can say that 5 times up that climb should be enough to break anyone!

The way Martin climbs the 'kliener hugel so consistently I would need to build 20 secs at least in the flats to compensate

20s a lap?
The only thing is it’s quite similar to last night in that it’s about power either side of the climb and so probably suits the bigger boys more. There was a faster group in front of my group that powered into the climb and pulled away from us even though they were at 4w plus. It is a great racing course but there’s no let up on the down at all. You can’t low power coast at my weight because you have that rise and then a short descent to the formal sprint. My group fell apart at that point as some stronger guys pulled away from us. Great fun.

Variety is the spice of life as they say...

Let’s try lots of courses and see where the chips fall...

At the end of the day it’s a game of two halves...

Ok ok that last one doesn’t make any sense, I was just trying to keep the cliche run going.

Honestly though if you really want to mix it up then it’s quite easy. One flat (ish) course. One undulating course and one hill climb. Then we find a way of picking a wild card course. That’s a four course league every month.

Some courses suit some more than others? That’s life aint it? ^_^

For me to match Martins K/Hugel time I need to average 400W(4.3W/kg) for 1min20 repeatedly. Thats not a problem, twice, maybe 3 times but 5,6 laps would see me dying. I would need to consistently build a small lead on each lap to hold off the final climbs

I ain't good of any type of courses but i have notice that my blood draws me on hills and mountains. I try to challenge myself not knowing what kind of results it brings at the end. Today i find a way climb Innsbruck main climb patiently lower heart rate than usual.
