It’ll always be Zwift. Not in competition with the goats league on brvr. It won’t be a league. Very casual. Nothing but an hour or so of suffering every Monday followed by a week or so of bragging rights if you happen to get involved in any battles :smile:

Have you got access to the Alpe in Zwift yet? Or you planning on heading up to the radio tower?

I can’t set a meet up because I don’t have access to the alpe myself mate. I think if we arrange a time then we can work it out. It’s gotta be easier to find people when they’re going at 3mph ^_^

:wahhey:I've done it. I've finally managed to complete AdZ. 130 something, :blink:, due to being on a workout for the first hour or so, but I'm not kidding myself about how much quicker I'd be just doing a straight up ride :sad:.

I will not be attempting that again for a while :sweat::sweat::sweat: :bicycle::sweat::sweat::sweat:

When you feel up to facing it again Pack do a Sunday 21 bends sub2 ride on Sunday’s. Lots of Alp virgins on it yesterday. They aim for 2h 30 and stop twice. Lots of chat and joking.

Get Adam to organise the meet up. Or someone else who isnt going to ride- experiment to see if 'meet up' still work or said lead rider needs to kickstart the event

When you feel up to facing it again Pack do a Sunday 21 bends sub2 ride on Sunday’s. Lots of Alp virgins on it yesterday. They aim for 2h 30 and stop twice. Lots of chat and joking.
I was averaging 1.5-1.7 on the second half of the climb, 200w +/- 10w. The last 2 or 3 corners were a little lower. Even with my gearing I'm down to 60-70 cadence which is quite sressful on the legs. It was a case of bedding in for the long haul no matter how long it took.

I'll be continuing the workouts and hopefully the weight loss so the w/kg will go up a lot, even if the ftp only goes up a little. The aim is getting fitness for the ToC, then more weight loss for the rest of the year.

Similar strategy to me TB .... I'm happy with power for now, so relying on weight loss to get my w/kg higher. If more power comes too, then great, but weight loss is top priority :okay:
