You seemed to be doing OK. I assumed you had to shoot off early as there was a sale of avocado at Waitrose

Got the ripe ones:okay:

I should have kept going but was turning too high a gear for comfort. Dropped into Sufferfest and spun the pedals for a while and felt much better.

I dropped off the group about 10 mins after you. Was aiming to just cruise for 10 or so more minutes but was caught up by another rider who had dropped off before me. I stayed with her for a bit, then we picked up 2 more riders. As we got chatting, it seems we were all looking to quit early, but as we now had a happy little group it spurred us on to last the distance. A good ride - enjoyed that ZSUN group - not too fast and good for 2 hours :okay:

Be careful not to overtrain. Eat for exercise and recovery but eat proper!
I'm eating OK, just cutting out the crap like cakes and biscuits, eating smaller portion sizes, and a lot more fruit. I touched 79.7kg today but this was after the ride so I may have been a bit low on water (I had drunk a full bottle after the ride and some milk but I probably hadn't fully hydrated). Definitely still losing weight :wahhey:

I don't really understand how that ranking works. Jonathan and Jeff, who are D cat are higher ranked than B and C cat racers which doesn't make sense to me. Seems there is no taking into account the cat level, power and speed that people are putting out. Confused.com

Can't say I fully understand it although it is explained in Zwiftpower. Points are derived from the position you finish a race and the quality of the field. Everyone starts at 600 and you get lower as you do well. Your results in ZP show if you get any improvement (reduction) from that race.

What I don't get though, is how it doesn't take account of the Cat you're racing in. Looks like to improve I'll have to beat some quality competitors

The faster Zsun is at 7-55 Saturday mornings. Really good group with lots of banter. They often string the ride out to a 100km . I will be riding with them for next 2 Saturdays.

Too early for me really. I need to get wife up and dressed which takes a good 90 mins most days, so I'd have to get up pretty early to be ready for that ride. I was looking to do the 100km today, but been riding a lot recently and not enough left to add an extra 23 km

im going back to Tenerife in a couple of weeks, hopefully this will Kickstart my dietary control for the summer.

When I return its TT season, and that is what I'll be doing the most through out summer .

TT bike is nearly ready, and I should be training on it, but haven't

Need pics and spec. I've not TT'd for a few years but enjoyed it when I did.
