Lovely walk from Warfleet in to Dartmouth this morning, the weather was stunning

Feeling a tad fresh on this Mornings dog walk. Proper cold. My face was actually starting to hurt. As cold as I’ve felt out in ‘years’……

I holidayed there many times years ago. Still have a soft spot for it.

Sunny but very icy here. Took the bus into town then walked back along the Water of Leith. Pleasantly quiet apart from the tourist mayhem through Dean Village. Not much wildlife on show, just the usual herons and dippers and one grey wagtail.

It was driving me crazy as I knew I knew the place, but couldn’t bring it to mind. Often eaten a “Gregg’s” sausage roll on the bench in the right corner of the photograph.

More snow last night, lovely fresh snow, which made walking easier today, as less icy.

There is a golf course under there.

Another very fresh walk ! Late start for us. Nothing planned today other than a decent 🚴 ride to kick off the cycling year though……

Macy checked out a few new posh pads on route:

Came across a couple of new lanes / pathways:

We could start to see how White it was as it got lighter:

Ran through a very crispy / crunchy field:

‘We’ then got a little infatuated by a Squirrel or 3:

And upon coming back into our Estate I think it’s clear it isn’t safe to ride later in the day / amongst traffic - in this (It’s enough to make a man miserable 🧐).

Still enjoyed our little walk though 😁
