One walk from our recent South Sheilds break.
We are gradually doing the whole of the NE coastal path albeit on a piecemeal basis.
A bit over 8 miles linear walk with return by the excellent local Metro service.
I must get better at taking photos, and more of them too!
The route, hugged the coastline all the way and was very lovely and free of people too.
Piggy chips with batter bits at the end of the walk. A very rare treat for us as we have low-carb diets and get to eat chips maybe 3 or 4 times a year. We 'save' them for coastal walks. These were gorgeous!

Puppies (8 months now) walks can increase approx 5-10 mins a month to allow for growing joints / bones etc. So we’ve been gradually stretching her out. And finding new fun places along the way.
This Mornings normal effort with me (And which I hugely enjoy 😎) was around some of the grounds of Pleasurewood Hills theme Park, Lowestoft - which we’d not been to before……

Short but intense climb up Little Green Valley trail. 2.8 miles with 600' elevation gain. Started at 6am so it was only 70F when we finished. A clear day with great views.
The hike itself is quite barren but there is a verdant meadow at the top.
Someone has tweaked an old lightning-strike tree and added a couple of stumps to make a shady nook.
Across the valley view of 10,000' high San Bernardino mountains taken from 7,000'

Itching to get back on my bike's

Nice early morning walk today along to Caister then back along the beach only spout by two yappy dogs .
Then a nice day walking and doing some people watching and letting the wolrd go by .
Ended up with 24k steps and approx 12 miles so well happy with that.

Pleasant walk locally this morning before it got too warm for Bonnie 🐶
Quite a bit of the green area is now fenced off for development..
Still nice places for sniffing around, though! (Bonnie, not me!)
A leisurely 4 miles with only a gaggle of joggers and a few dog walkers in sight.
Back home by 09:30 ready for a coffee ☕
