Likewise, it's almost like being there and has been a motivator for me to keep going on the trainer.I love this thread, makes me feel i'm sharing ur rides... keep the stories & pics coming peeps
I'm sure you've posted about this already but what's been keeping you in and needing a physio ?Likewise, it's almost like being there and has been a motivator for me to keep going on the trainer.
My rides yesterday were 2 x 25 min stints on the turbo (still not allowed out). On the plus side that's as long as I've managed in the past 10 weeks, and the 2nd saw me go more than 5 miles, bringing the days total to 10.2
Only 9 day s until the next physio visit, hopefully he'll give me a great Christmas pressie and ok me to go out
Probably somewhere, but a double dose of viral rhabdomyolysis in July & September, took about 70% of my leg muscles away, so relearning the art of walking and cycling has taken some time.I'm sure you've posted about this already but what's been keeping you in and needing a physio ?
ThanksSorry to hear that @cosmicbike that sounds nasty. Here's to a full recovery.
Yikes, doesn't sound good, GWS!Probably somewhere, but a double dose of viral rhabdomyolysis in July & September, took about 70% of my leg muscles away, so relearning the art of walking and cycling has taken some time.
On the plus side cycling is a low impact workout so physio is happy with it, but only in controlled conditions hence indoor cycling
you must have been lucky - it never warmed up here at all! The sun came out for all of 10 minutes and that wind was chilly . Tomorrow morning's ride over to Newcastle (Staffs) could well be a cold one!20.76 bloody cold miles, but a lovely day really and once warmed up a bit, a pleasant first proper outing on the Michelins.
Out to Antrobus and Marbury Park and back the same way, detour via Walton Hall.
