I love this thread, makes me feel i'm sharing ur rides... keep the stories & pics coming peeps :hugs:
Likewise, it's almost like being there and has been a motivator for me to keep going on the trainer.
My rides yesterday were 2 x 25 min stints on the turbo (still not allowed out:sad:). On the plus side that's as long as I've managed in the past 10 weeks, and the 2nd saw me go more than 5 miles, bringing the days total to 10.2:smile:
Only 9 day s until the next physio visit, hopefully he'll give me a great Christmas pressie and ok me to go out :bicycle::hyper::hyper:

I'm sure you've posted about this already but what's been keeping you in and needing a physio ?

Probably somewhere, but a double dose of viral rhabdomyolysis in July & September, took about 70% of my leg muscles away, so relearning the art of walking and cycling has taken some time.
On the plus side cycling is a low impact workout so physio is happy with it, but only in controlled conditions hence indoor cycling:sad:

Yikes, doesn't sound good, GWS!

Beautiful mild night and I decided to head by our training meeting point after someone posted on Faceboke if anybody would be out. Despite this he wasn't but another rider was I took him down a route similar to last night (except starting in Yaxley) down to Huntingdon and back via Woodwalton, Connington and Holme. I rounded it up to 45miles with a trip back by the Chinese to refresh the calories

My ride today was short (but longer than yesterday's ride turned out to be!) but plenty of cyclists out & about and all but one said hello (even managed to get the mtb'ers to say hello to me on my road bike ). Just over 18km, down to town & back for a vampire nurse to take some blood. No rushing, no PBs or PR's, no cups. Still exhausted from the weekend and yesterday (some daft drive down to Plymouth, across to Farnborough and back up to Warrington area...) and didn't have time this am to use my nebuliser before setting out, so just taking it easy... http://www.strava.com/activities/99688376

20.76 bloody cold miles, but a lovely day really and once warmed up a bit, a pleasant first proper outing on the Michelins.
Out to Antrobus and Marbury Park and back the same way, detour via Walton Hall.
you must have been lucky - it never warmed up here at all! The sun came out for all of 10 minutes and that wind was chilly :cold:. Tomorrow morning's ride over to Newcastle (Staffs) could well be a cold one!
