Today was "The Killer Mile" attempt. No problems. The last bit is steep but not that hard provided you take the first 3/4 of a mile easy. A lovely ride if a bit chilly. Slight "mizzle" at the start.

Took in Radnor Bank and Bosley Cloud for good measure.

36 miles, 3000ft ascent.

35 miles along the coast. Sun in my face and wind through my helmet. Lots of other fair weather cyclists out. I stopped for a moment to sort my rear light out as it was lose and a passing cyclist asked if I was all right so that's nice. Not something that would happen if i was in a car. Neck hurt from all the nodding.
All nice apart from one passenger nobber who thought he knew better. Driver was fine.

75.6 miles with the cycle chat eccose Tour De Fife . Great guys, horrible winds and have A left cleat that just won't unclip so had two falls ad some new scars. Almost doubled the pb on distance and time I set last week, so rally happy to have done the distance when I only stared January and am a robust 15 stone

Quick ride, 5.75 miles to church and then 8.42 miles home. Its not a one way system from church to home, we went the pretty route as the sun was shining and we were not in a hurry - actually we are as we have packing to do, we are finally moving home to an upstairs flat with an excellent area downstairs for safe bike storage ^_^

So today, basically Barnham Broom to Wymondham and back via Little Melton.

Got my first metric century today, 68 miles (15.7 mph ave.)^_^ First decent ride on the new bike, headed off from Newbury to Swindon via Hungerford, then back and heading through the lanes from Brimpton to Kingsclere. Legs started to cramp up towards the end, need to look at my electrolyte intake (I limit salt intake due to high blood pressure).
