Fifty three miles from Krems to Klosterneuberg just outside Venice yesterday. temperature hit mid thirties and we got through eleven litres of water between us before fighting the beer. Having a day of and will be pootling in to Vienna to do touristy things.

Mostly sunny early morning ride out to Easingwold and Boroughbridge. 73 miles fixed

Early morning ride organized by Paul our local bike shop owner, we took a few beginners with us for the first 10 miles, then they were escorted back to the start, the rest of us went on to do 50+miles really enjoyed it, the last 10 miles were hard, great route mostly quiet country roads, doing it again in two weeks time, we all stopped for coffee and cake at the end of the ride.

Timed that right, I got out this morning exploring the local villages; it was quite sunny apart from a couple of light showers en route but nothing major. Sat down and watched the Womens RR and within a few hours it's turned torrential. I hop it dries of after the race when I go out to find tea ;-)

Not everyday you get to pass Fabian Cancellara

He was going in the opposite direction, with the rest of his Swiss team but that's just details. Tempting to throw a u-turn and try to catch back up to the group! Spartacus was looking cool as a cucumber in big shades and was front right of the pack.

Wimped out today.
Just comeoff nights so i felt like a zombie so i had a "quiet " morning with the kids , feel ok now but its finding the oppotunity .

12 minute ride today(!) albeit on the turbo trainer. Part of rehab after broken leg. Nice to mix it up a bit between spinning and grinding. Hopefully will be able to release the bike from the turbo trainer in a couple of weeks or so and get it out and about.

Accompanied 'er indores on her first proper ride on the Carlton I bought/built for her to take part in the London Triathlon - went really well. Not that far - sub-20 miles - but she's doing the super sprint which is only 15kms, so that was fine. And she said it felt good. Running nice 'n smooth. Out to Regents Park, twice round, then back. All most satisfactory.

Cycled up to my Mums, 12 miles and had a cup of tea, then stopped a mile from home for a pint.....Think their getting to know me and just pour me a snecklifter when I go in

Had a nice ride in a foreign country called Wales ! Me and my friend rode NCN-5 from Prestatyn to Llandudno with hardly any road riding along the coast in glorious sunshine and friendly people along the way.Enjoy the photo's...........

The bikes look like there leaning against the Pantry Bach in Pensarn near Abergele....I like a bag of chips from there

A gentle 15 miles into town (as compared to yesterday's rather lumpy and bumpy 65 miles) to see friends. (Note to self for future reference:- when you've clocked up nearly 200 miles in a week, going out without padded shorts is asking for a lot of pedalling whilst standing up. )

58 miles round the Lanarkshire countryside. Left the house at 7.30 and was back home by 11. Glad I went out early as there has been some cracking showers this afternoon

It was the exact same down here but I didn't get back till one'ish and the heaven opened when I was watching the Women's Road Race on TV.
