Don't suppose you have a spare recumbent trike around do you?
No, but if you've got a trailer I'll tow you around a bit.
You know where I live^_^

I won't be towing you up the bloody big hill though:laugh:

25 miles today, first went out to watch the SRC Boxing Day 10 mile TT.
Some of the riders were faster than I could catch ?

Had a coffee & cake after the event then headed to Pucklechurch Crematorium to visit my Mum.
A short hop down to Westerleigh to meet family for bubble & squeak & turkey.
A relaxing afternoon watching my girls playing with their new toys.

Journey home was very wet - but only 5 miles

A short clip from the Boxing Day TT using my new HD video camera !

A ride around the red route on Cannock Chase. There was a few cm of snow on the ground and it all looked rather festive. I was up there with some like minded fools shaking our way around on very old mountain bikes. My 1988 Saracen has been festering in the car all night as I couldn't face lifting it out yesterday. My already goosed shoulders took another big hit during the ride as a front brake failure meant a crash.

Here's the bike this morning. Amusingly, my clobber which was also left in the car was frozen solid this morning.

very chilly ride to work. roads not nearly as bad as I feared from sub zero overnight so took just knobbly shod MTB and avoided my usual country trails as experience tells me they'll be pretty well sheet ice today. might do the studdy tyres tomorrow and have a pootle on em.

A late start meant I saved myself getting dangerously cold because I decided to go on a shorter ride (21 miles) than I intended and found that at the end I was beginning to get hints of that deep chill in my core which would have been bad news if I'd been further from home. Still, enjoyed 95% of the ride.

And one of some wood smoke drifting across the horizon like mist out near Henley - it smelt of Winter.

Nice ride out today. @StickBouncer came to ours today and SB & I headed off to Bawburgh, up Stocks Hill to the Watton Road where we rode 100 yards of it and then rode off to Little Melton along the Melton Road. We rode up to the War Memorial and turned left towards Wymondham and then left again to Hethersett as SB said that his legs were starting to tire. I don't want to put him off riding, so we rode to Hethersett, had a breather for a couple of mins on the edge of the village.

After a rest we rode through Hethersett itself and then headed down the Norwich Road to the A11/A47 junction. It's downhill all the way there, we lose about 90 feet over the 4 miles or so down there (except for the hill that goes up to Colney Lane. We just don't talk about that bit). From there it was a quick hop through Cringleford, along Bluebell and then back to my flat.

13.63 miles in 1:13:11 today, so averaged 11.2mph. It was cold out and my feet were freezing over the last couple of miles. I have found where the puppy hid my slippers now but feet are still cold. Hubster gave SB a lift home as he is nice like that.

I am now 12 miles over my target. I still have a couple more days of riding too so I might end up with a few more miles this year, which is good.

17.95 freezingfeckincold miles today. MrsP and I cycled off to Wantage along the lanes and byways to have a bit of lunch, cycled rund the market square where King Alfred is standing with sword upright in the feckin' cold. Stunning clear day, not a cloud in the sky but by Christ it was cold. It was a lovely ride, loads of cyclists out today, roadies, 'briders, MBR's BSO'ers and of course one bloke on a Swiss Army Bike, but by golly it was cold.

This life size bronze statue of a race horse that won the Cheltenham Gold Cup three times. It was warm to touch in the sun, almost felt alive.
