Off to Horsey Gap for the first time this year. Pups are already moulting.
I was surprised to see several muntjac feeding on the road verges, seemingly oblivious to the traffic on the dual carriageway. And a red kite over Thetford forest.
An exceptionally tame robin. This is perched on top of the car door. He/she actually flew inside my car and at one point went under the passenger seat.
Not counting sheep as wildlife, but they were a sexy breed.
Sunday post lunch ride with 8yo grandaughter her dad, me with 4yo on a bike seat, off to feed squirrels in local woodland.
Lots of them fed, one spot has become a feeding station almost, it seems locals are regulars. The kids lay on the floor with peanuts in outstretched hands, squirrels scamper up and very cautiously take food.
Same woodland, 4x parakeets calling out and flying above with very distinctive fanned rails
