We had loads of hedgehog sightings from our patio last night a bit unsure if they were all the same one or at least two

Walking the grandkids to a local brook to see the frogspawn, this was glaring out in the woodland debris . I think it's Scarlet Cup, never saw it before...

I'm.always reminded...late evening cycling years ago, just entering Elton village on a pitch black road with a good strong light on my bike....a figure appeared out of the gloom, into my headlight and gone, all in a couple seconds as I was doing about 15mph.
It shocked me so much I found myself shouting 'fark off' .
If I'd hit it, I know which was going to come off worse...
I always imagined some villager nearby, peace and quiet shattered by my oaths in the pitch black evening ...
