You would have red eyes if you were disturbed at this time in the morning.Relieved a group of 4 field mice of their accommodation when I moved a compost heap.
Further demolition of the bread oven revealed a toad(with red eyes?)
Alas, it's a while since I've seen a red kite, but I think that looks more like a buzzard than a kite.I have just down loaded my pictures of the Red Kite from yesterday. I am sorry that they are far away. View attachment 125945
Driving along the A14 just north of Cambridge we saw a White Stork flying over the village of Milton.
