Similarly today I saw my first Goldfinch, my flock is getting broader

I saw a massive buzzard at very close quarters on Sunday mid-morning. Sitting on a fence by the road looking at me with it's yellow eyes.
I had to google it to be sure what it was. Not sure I could have out ran it but of course I would only have had to outrun my friend...

I love long tailed tits, we do get them in our garden, in little flocks, flitting around chattering as they go!

Spent the afternoon watching and listening to the peregrines who are nesting on the Pitt Building in Cambridge.

5 pheasants, 3 cocks 2 ladies
2 hares gamboling through the field. I slowed to see if they'd box but they didn't
1 little grebe heard calling
One green woodpecker
One song thrush.
