Women's road race tomorrow morning. I will always want my faves to win (Kasia, Cecilie) but I'm pinning my hopes on Elisa Longo Borghini.

The main enjoyment will be seeing how the Dutch contrive to screw it up!

AvV is presumably carrying an injury so they have a built in excuse. But in any event, AvV and Vos are too used to being undisputed team leaders that they don't seem to work well with each other. Vollering is game, but doesn't seem the brightest.

Having said all that, I'd love to see Vollering win!

Just caught up - I was RD at parkrun today and had to stop watching at 20km to go.

WOW...AVV is astonishing. The woman is unstoppable.
